Kamaru Usman vs Khabib...who takes it?

Theres a reason Khabib is in 155...
Usman probably gives him permanent damage

Usman would.be the best wrestler Khafbib ever faced and the biggest by far.

Usman via ko/tko.

Fight would mostly be stand up.

Usman would be too big and strong. I just can't see Khabib grapplefucking Usman. Most likely Usman keeps it standing and lands the harder blows.

Usman. Prime Chris would have tossed Usman around. Prime Anderson would have knocked his teeth out. Weightclasses are there for a reason.

Both Usman and Khabib would win and lose fights a division above.

If it stays standing Khabib gets worked. On the ground Usmsn wins out due to being stronger and better cardio. Can't see Khabin wining but would be good fight for a few rds

Khabib relied on his spectacular wrestling at 155. Usman hired Whitman so he could the best everywhere at 170. If you don't think there's the possibility he could improve that much, there is actually a pretty good example at the top in another division.

Just look at the level of striking Rose displayed when she was on TUF, and lost the finale to Esparza. Fast forward 3 years and she is KO'ing and clearly winning a 5 round striking battle against JJ, a multi-time Muay Thai & Kick Boxing champion.

How does that fight play out? The longer Usman goes on this winning streak the more incredible it would be for Khabib to come out of retirement, jump up a weight class, smash Usman for the Welterweight strap and retire again GSP style.

It would solidify Khabib in the P4P rankings. I personally think it would be a close fight since Khabib would be trying to grapple with a guy much bigger than he would normally be trying to control on the ground.

I still think Khabib would win though.

They should fight at 155,

Oh wait, they can't. Usman is just too big.

So, this is your answer.

Also, Khabib doesn't need to ''solidify'', he is not the one who got choked by someone like Caceres and get finished by a fighter like that, or he didn't tap to a mediocre fighter such as Matt Serra's strikes.

Khabib is the only undefeated, P4P No.1 champion, who earned more money than anyone except for Conor. He is also the most dominant one with having most 10-8 rounds.

Usman's training partner Gaethje also said no one under 185 beats Khabib so, Khabib doesn't need to prove anything.

This

Usman too big, too strong whilst also being highly skilled.

I wanna go with this. Look at Blazchowitz v Adesanya. On paper, Adesanya is a MUCH more accomplished striker and an awkward one at that, but that skill transfers only that far. Jan dominated him like it wasn't a close fight. I think weight classes - at least at higher weights, matter a lot.

khabib isnt the kind of guy to go up a weight class and challenge somebody bigger than himself. he knows without a significant size advantage his chances of winning drops big time

Weightclasses exist for a reason

Usman and Colby out-point Khabib on the feet easy, Chimaev knocks him out.
