I don't think anyone should start a crusade for her. Where does that end? People who make mistakes have kids everyday and have to live with the mistakes they made. We don't start movements for every Joe Blow with regrets, and we often tell people that they should have thought about their future before they made their bad decisions.
She, unfortunately, signed a contract. She doesn't get to walk away without repercussions because she wants to. Just like expungement for a criminal doesn't erase those news articles, mug shots, etc. Your conviction may not be "official" anymore, but the evidence of your crimes will always exist. Same thing for a former porn star. You can walk away from or get out of your contract, but it doesn't make disappear any of the evidence that you did it. Again, she should have considered her future before she decided to do porn. Just like any criminal should have done the same before committing the crime. There are consequences for actions, and she is learning that lesson the hard way.
I do agree though, good on her for walking away. Her child will have a much better life with her mom not being involved in that industry. I'm always skeptical though when a porn star says they're done with it for good. A large number of them go back, bc it is what they know and how they make their money.
I certainly support her in leaving and her desire to stay away, but I can't support her wish to erase her past. It isn't how life works. She's accountable for what she did, the same way I am.
