People can hate on Jake Paul but he's doing great things for both boxing and MMA. How great is it to FINALLY see someone stand up to Dana White who Dana can't just blackball or fire? This is a revolution that needs to happen. And now he's promoting women's boxing, which nobody has ever cared about. People will say Dana built WMMA into a powerhouse... he didn't do shit. He said himself he'd never have women fighting in UFC... but then he saw Ronda Rousey becoming a superstar, saw the dollar signs and changed his mind. That's all he did.

It just makes me cringe seeing so many Dana simps on here standing up for him and defending shitty fighter pay with retarded logic. Any fan of MMA should want this fighter pay issue addressed. Even if you don't give a fuck about the fighters and just look at them as crash test dummies for your amusement, you should still want them to stop getting fucked because we want the best athletes to choose to come to MMA. What do you think happens when they see the UFC's champs and biggest names unhappy about pay, and reading that former UFC champs are making more boxing a YouTube star than they ever did in the UFC? They choose to do something else with their lives and we're stuck with the people no other sport wants. The unathletic, the untalented.

I'm on the side of Fighters getting more pay. I think the UFC can afford it. I think the fighters deserve it. I think Jake Paul has more clout than anyone who's come out and said this before. I love the UFC, but I think the fighters should get a little bit more of the bankroll.

Jake Paul is the man regarding fighter pay.

And he is also a good boxer. Not pro boxer material, but legitimate wins against decent competition.

And yet he has single handedly done more to hurt the credibility of MMA fighters than anyone ever. I'm not saying MMA pay shouldnt increase but I dont believe for one second that this kid is doing this out of selfless concern. It seems more likely that he either has some personal issue with Dana White, or is on somebodys payroll to use his name and influence to try a little corporate sabotage on a competitor. Hes doing a great job of it too.

Part of me thinks that if he was really that bothered he'd start his own MMA promotion, he has the connections in combat sports and media to get the backing to make it happen.
