this will turn out like draw muhammad day eventually

these little fascist gotta realize sooner or later you dont hold hostage people in a free society and you don't tell them what they are allowed/not allowed to say.

if youre offended by a word, or even more pathetic, if youre offended by some people using certain words, while others use it all the time then thats youre problem.

you gotta stop acting like an emotional child and grow up

the level of crying by Rogan fans is quite amusing...

Correction, both his ardent supporters and detractors are equally absurd. When the non-opinions of a coffee-table pot head are the top priority in society you just know we're fucking done....

I like how the same people that are usually outraged by this, are the same people that think using the term "white boy" is perfectly fine.

Hypocrits abound.

Why do you guys act oppressed because you can’t say the n word? You guys want to be the victims so bad. Slavery sucked, I think it’s pretty easy to just not use a word that millions of Americans associate with that time. The only issue I have is digging up the past to get Rogan in trouble in the present. Rogans had many black guests on and I don’t think he is racist.

Bitching and moaning about being restricted from using the N word, yet so many of you display a vocabulary of a couple of hundred words.
Your time would be better spent expanding your body of words than obsessing over the handful you are forbidden from uttering.

Just because you don't agree with someone doesn't make them a charlatan. Welcome to the real world!
He's not a charlatan because I disagree with him. He's a charlatan because he pretends to be a liberal criticizing liberals as a schtick.

Rogan has 2 more months max on Spotify. I think 2 months is even a massive stretch at this point.

Social media = the death of society

you think his contract will get terminated? Also where will he land?

But man, how do you turn your back on $100 mil though? I see what you mean, but I can't fault Joe on this. If anything, Spotify should have done better research and not thrown $100 mil at the dude.

"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows."

I saw Joe Rogan live when I first moved out here.
During his set he asked if there were any black people in the room.
He then did a joke about how he gets away with saying the N word (he used the actual word).
all the time he just makes sure there isnt any black people in the room when he says it.

Is that considered proper context?
Yes, but it's also considered an anecdote. Not that I personally think what you are saying is untrue, just that I can understand if someone chooses not to look at this as evidence either way.

He's not a charlatan because I disagree with him. He's a charlatan because he pretends to be a liberal criticizing liberals as a schtick.
What is your bar to decide someone isn't liberal?

Social justice nonsense? Or his actual wishes for policy?

Because I hate to break it to you, Rogan is very liberal in most of his views.

So I should stop listening hip hop lyrics...a form of music I have been listening to for over 30 years?

Or maybe you want that music to be illegal for all white/mixed races to buy?
Is that even close to the same thing?

Disappointing in Rogan for caving into the notion the context no longer matters. He was big enough to weather this storm and should have stood firm not just for himself but for free speech in general.

Ah well, can we cancel the Young Turks too then since its been decided nuance and context are irrelevant these days?

Cancel them too? Did Rogan get cancelled? No, he didn't. Why is it so hard for most of the WR to comment without making shit up or resorting to misleading false equivalencies?

you think his contract will get terminated? Also where will he land?
Bought out is all they can do. They can't arbitrarily terminate it. He isn't an employee. It's a licensing contract and he is an independent contractor.

To break it they need to pay him the entire Contract and free him to sign elsewhere. And he would be instantly signed elsewhere for more money

I don't think he's cuck a because he apologized for saying the N-word.

It's the right and smart thing to do. Regardless if it was taken out of context or he didn't mean it maliciously.

He has a large following and he has to appease the crowd. It's just nature of things.
