Bas was okay in very small doses, but in general, as a commentator, he was horrible.

I enjoyed it tremendously. But as I pointed out in this thread https://forums.sherdog.com/threads/do-people-really-still-listen-to-the-commentary.4226766/page-4 I don’t actually take any commentary seriously (more like background noise, which arguably makes my opinion moot.)

But IMO he was more entertaining than the rest.

Big John knows the referee job, rules, how to judge, etc.
Mauro minds the flow and the adds and keep the conversation going
Mir is the ex-fighter who is VERY good technically and very eloquent & smart.

Some rose tinted glasses on folks for sure . Bas is funny and knows a lot about fighting but for some reason the latter didn't show in his commentary intentional or not.
