yes, he would most probably have the easier route with Kabib because Makachev at least has some kind of standup game, but yes, it would be even easier than his victories against Doostin and Joostin.

It's not that he doesn't respect their power. You'd have to be a moron to not respect their power.

He comes forward so aggressively because:

A. He needs to be super close to you to take you down. He doesn't shoot from outside his takedowns are usually bodylocks, trips, kind of stuff.
B. He has no fear of getting taken down himself, in fact that is what he wants.

So yes I believe he will still be that aggressive vs Islam or Khabib. It's all he knows. That's his way to victory.

Likely. His style revolves on walking opponents down so they desperately shoot and he can catch their heads in a guillotine.

One benefit that Oliveria had was that he saw how weak Gaethje's BJJ is when Khabib fought Gaethje. Gaethje will always be hesitate when fighting a complete grappler, allowing Khabib/Charles to trade with Gaethje on the feet.

Oliveria does not have that benefit against Khabib. Khabib is an incredibly durable fighter who would have the stronger Threat of Takedown in that fight. Yes Oliveria has incredible BJJ, but it's not like he has NOT been subbed in the past. Oliveria is offensively great, but is not as great defensively imo. He took Chandler down and had his back, but Chandler escaped pretty well. Dustin also survived for almost a round against Charles on the ground.

Islam and Khabib are submission specialists themselves and Oliviera has been subbed 5 times. Khabib and Islam have never been subbed.

I think he would do it, daring them to take him down.
And I don't see Khabib minding it one bit.

This fight would be fought on the ground and would be a chess match (and not very entertaining) until someone wins.

I don't know who would win, but that's the only path for Khabib. If he keeps the fight standing, then Charles would definitely win. (it would be very close to what Werdum & Cain looked like).

I don’t know… maybe yes or maybe not. All I know is that Gaethje and Dp are novices on the ground compared to Khabib, who made it look easy once the fight hit the ground. So I cannot use that as reference. It goes the other way around as well…. Charles is scary right now, a different beast.
