Just found this guy as I watched one of his recent fights. Wilson Reis, former UFC flyweight who fought DJ and Cejudo.
https://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Wilson-Reis-23401

Now, look at those stats, it's pretty amazing:

MMA record: 25-12
number of KOs: 0
number of TKOs: 0
number of KDs: 0

Sig strike accuracy (ufcstats): 28% (is that record low? can you you find anyone lower?)

Strikes landed per min: 1.81 (for reference, Derrick Lewis is at 2.56)

Strikes absorbed per min: 3.03

Striking differential: -1.41

That's quite phenomenal, the guy literally cannot throw a punch, yet competed at the highest level in the UFC.
Don't get me started with HW being the worst division. Wilson Reis makes Parker Porter look like Anderson Silva.

Do you guys have anyone with asignificant MMA record and worst striking?

Wilson is so good jiu jitsu he has moves names after him, its prob because of that he striking is not as good.

esit: fun fact, Wilson and I were once scheduled to make our pro-debuts against each other in 2007 at FW…..show got canceled.

Koji Oshi has to be the worst.

  • Significant Strikes Landed per Minute: 1.43
  • Striking Accuracy: 9%
  • Significant Strikes Absorbed per Minute: 17.86
  • Significant Strike Defence: 43%
Even defending 43% he was absorbing nearly 18 significant strikes per minute.

You may want to mute the commentary, but look at this masterclass in stiking.

No one posted the Cindy Dandois gif yet?
Even though she's from my country, I feel it's my duty to post it

Then again, same answer as for Wilson Reis, primarily a grappler.

Lucky you, I guess? Heh

It’s no secret Wilson ”Heis” is a grappler first. Ben Askren’s striking vs Maia was probably the absolute worst I’ve seen. That was because Maia was not only the better striker, but absolute nightmare on the ground so Askren couldn’t just go and grab a hold of him. He tried to play it smart, only took Maia down in the final minute of the round and then got choked out cold with one hand

When you say UFC history, you gotta understand that includes every UFC fighter ever. With that being said, you cannot leave out a guy like Dan Severn.
