I think I've accepted now that we're never gonna hammer anyone in the near future. Every game we play is difficult regardless of how shite the opposition is.

It's disheartening to see that even with a new manager I like, we're still basically a gong and dash counter attacking team.

That's not a problem if you make it work properly and hammer minnows 4-0 without breaking a sweat.

We don't. We struggle while doing it.

Gonna be a slog of a season. 3pts will do I guess.

Ronaldo is done isn't he.

January, we need to let him go SOMEHOW however it happens, it has to happen. Then we need to sign a CF. It HAS to happen but I suspect it won't.

We might get rid of him but we definitely won't replace him til next summer.

Martial will have a good run then get injured again by Jan and guarantee we'll be playing Elanga at 9 for the rest of the season.

Sancho needs benching for a while. Lad is looking like a ripoff now, I gave him benefit of the doubt last season, couple of goals this season but 9/10 he's non existent. Massive concerns there.

Tough game Sunday, Everton are shit but durable shit, could easily see a 0-0 or 1-1 draw there.

It takes a while to get rid of the rot when it’s really settled in. ETH won’t be able to play his style properly until he gets rid of almost all of the players he doesn’t want and gets his players in/gets the ones that are to his liking to play how he wants. Of course, the other issue is if players like Casemiro are being signed against his wishes. That’ll draw the process out.

That's been speculated?

TBF, he wanted fucking Arnautovic.

broke up with "my" girl ... barelly lasted a week ...
basically told her i didnt feel we were compatible, she quietly agreed ... nuff said, right ?!
missing a woman´s touch tbh, but yeah, i guess it wasnt meant to be !? i have a tendency to crash and burn, and even tho i was enjoying being with her, its better to avoid a train wreck sooner than later .

fuck everything

and Daspy was right, im not a stable person. But i wish her well, and may she find a guy who is really worth her while, and that treats her well, as she deserves.

Best of luck to you as well, gents.

We go again brother

I'm guessing the new terms have a nice easy break release or something else to benefit Forest?

Why did you feel you weren't compatible?

A few pundits have suggested that. I think it's mostly because he's not playing him. We know he wanted Frenkie and didn't get him. If that did go ahead, I'd hazard a guess that he'd be starting. Maybe there's another issue though?

Yeah. Looked like we were on the verge of signing Rabiot too, at one point.

Rabiot, de Jong and Casemiro may all be nominally CMs, they are not alike at all.

Yeah, we'll take the declining 30 year old for 70m, and give him 300k p/w for the next 5 years.

One thing Real does well, they know when the right time is to sell their players

Another myopic signing. Looks good on paper and might work out, but no real vision for the future. @Rawex was he losing mobility last season like I hear from some?

PREDICTIONS:

Newcastle 2 - 1 Brentford
Bournemouth 1 - 1 Leicester
Man City 5 - 0 Southampton
Chelsea 2 - 0 Wolves
Brighton 2 - 2 Spurs
West Ham 1 - 2 Fulham
Crystal Palace 1 - 1 Leeds
Arsenal 3 - 2 Liverpool
Nottm Forest 1 - 2 Aston Villa

Everton 1 - 1 Man United (Antony)

Only guy I remember Real making a mistake moving on was Robben, really.

They barely put up a fight to keep Varane nor Casemiro, too. Very telling. Meanwhile we finance their acquisitions of Tchouameni and Camavinga.

<Grimes01>
Schneider was one who came to mind. Looking back, he only had a couple good seasons with Inter.

United can’t even get that lucky. I’d take a couple good seasons out of any of these United players in a heartbeat.

Nothing too bad but timing worked really well.
From Kroos-Modric-Casemiro to Valverde-Camavinga-Thouameni in roughly one window. Bellingham also being reported most likely joining Real and Ceballos in the team. Real running midfield business like well oiled machine.

That said i hope Casemiro does well at United.
