Picked up and mastered boxing at an advanced age. Can't seem to hit baseballs the way he hits heads though.

Swings like a pussy. Very, very surprising in a sense, as fighters generally have pretty good rotational velocity. Strange to see him swinging like a child after knocking out several trained fighters...

hitting a fastball outside of luck is the hardest regular feat an athlete must try to accomplish regularly in all of pro sports. It's so difficult that you could at one point be a total fat fuck alcoholic, use drugs, and still be signed if you could do it.
I guess...I used to play when I was younger, was never a major leaguer or an up and Comer or anything like that, but guts in my league regularly threw fastballs 85mph, as well as sliders, curves, etc. I found the fastballs to be way easier to hit. Granted, when we talk about a 100+ mph fastball, we are talking about another animal altogether, but I still feel hitting a quality (not a hanger or a poor quality) breaking ball takes more mental concentration because of the calculations you are doing to gauge where it will end up in the zone.

Yeah baseball is a weird sport. Unless you learned how to throw and hit as a kid good fucking luck trying to wing that no matter what caliber of athlete you are. There was one video of GSP in a HR derby and looked like a complete retard swinging or McGregor on the mound. Ronaldo wasn't as bad as these guys but still looked worst than a 10 year old.

He was the protagonist against McGregor and then the 4 fights after that.

In pretty much every fight the majority of fans want Nate to win.

Against Conor his fan-backing reached a new level.

McGregor is the biggest PPV star in MMA because people tune in as both fans and haters.

With Nate, people are almost exclusively tuning in because they like him.

With his last fight, against another fan-favorite guy, Tony Ferguson, it became a showcase of Nate vs. the UFC.

Even though he has a lot of losses, he's a genuine guy who refuses to let anything break his mental frame.

He got to leave the UFC on his own terms. On a win. As a superstar who again flipped the MMA world on its head with all the shenanigans. He got to make Khamzat "lose" to him without even fighting him. In one night, he beat Tony, Khamzat, and the UFC.

If he fights Jake Paul and beats him, MMA should just be called Nate Diaz like Naruto is named after the protagonist of the series.

Diaz is pushing 38, well past his prime and on the cusp of retirement. He's about 15lbs smaller than Jake Paul. Nate's never had great boxing even for MMA, he coasted so much off of his chin, cardio and pressure. Nates a semi retired journeyman with a big name who's in terms of boxing 2 divisions under Jake Paul. This is the perfect kinda fight for Paul.

What I'm wondering is when will a legit, non washed up, retired, undersized, horribly injured MMA fighter box Jake Paul? I know fans are really stupid but we watched Mike Perry beat arguably a better boxer than Paul in Triad by the name of Mike Seals. Where is the shame at this point? Go box Tumenov or Gregory Rodrigues or something, I don't think Paul wins those.

AS's really old but he beat Cesar Chavez Jr a little over a year earlier. Paul probably will never be champion but he's not a bad boxer and if he keeps improving this thing might go on for awhile. Should stop holding our breath expecting some MMA fighter to stop him, it's probably not happening at this point.

Paul's been criticized by MSSM for fighting MMA legends as opposed to "real boxers" he might never fight another MMA star again. AS might have been the last chance. He seems more interested in Conor than Diaz tho(Diaz is larger this makes sense). Either way it's the same deal with Woodley tho MMA guys might have good boxing talent but are used to using boxing in MMA not actually boxing. .

I'm curious who do you think will win if Jake fight Tommy Fury. I legit think Jake Paul could have beaten Tommy had the fight been made. Tommy is so terrible lol. Probably one of the only legit boxer Jake can beat.

Sure bud, sure. But he's not beating a guy who is 4 weight classes bigger than him with his OK MMA striking at age 38.
Did you think at all before you posted?
Do you even UFC?
Oh wait...
Yeah, you're 100% right.
Question is, after Nate talked about showing MMA fighters how to succeed in boxing, how can he turn the fight down?

Tommy Fury isn't a top 100 boxer. The only thing Tommy has going for him is he's not undersized and he's still young, not washed up pushing 40+ with a string of losses and injuries. Fury vs Paul could be competitive its hard to say, none of them have much of a body of work to draw from. I thought Jake Paul looked terrible vs Anderson, he was really uncomfortable in the pocket and seemed to have no good answer to a 50 year olds pressure so he kept clinching, at range Anderson was just too slow and there was nothing on his punches so he got outgunned by the 25 year old, Anderson also didn't have the conditioning to pressure hard for 8 rounds either. I haven't watched much of Tommy Fury though, I really don't care about this charade, I don't find it entertaining. It's embarrassing that this outdraws major boxing events and it's embarrassing old washed up MMA names come to box a youtube for the paycheck.

Jake probably knocks him out tbh. Nate is the perfect opponent for Jake to keep up the narrative and make a ton of money. I dont know if these old MMA guys are just desperate for the payday or genuinely believe they can beat Jake. Hint: if hes fighting you its because him and his team are extremely confident that you're ripe for the picking.

Nate isn’t beating Paul unfortunately. If he does take the fight get it’ll ever for the money. Nate isn’t stupid though and will likely box either mayweather or Connah
Jake Paul is the boxing fight he would get, Floyd isnt giving him the time of day and Conor is tied with the UFC for who knows how long.
