Well, as a French football fan I was gutted in 2006, but right now it mostly feels like I’ve watched one heck of a game. Football rules. That is all.

I mean what’s not to be proud of?. they had a phenomenal campaign, beat everyone convincingly (aside from the England match) in the most entertaining WC ever; created two of the greatest comeback in regular and OT during a finale, Mbappe officially declared to the world that he’s the next demigod of football, team is also young and should be the class of international football till the next Euro and WC.

I woulda played but I am not a coach. He’s still Ronaldo even if most of his legendary abilities are gone. He was still a threat and he can still perform. I think it was a mistake but we will never know. All I know is that there was unnecessary drama and they lost miserably against Morocco.

Anyone who follows Man Utd will know how badly Ronaldo's game has fallen off a cliff this season, Portugal are a far better team without him on the pitch (as Man Utd were).
