Like some of you, I was also disappointed with the finale after the K.E.V.I.N. scene. But I had a chance to rewatch the final episode with my daughter and now that I knew what to expect, I found it more enjoyable. If you have the time, I suggest rewatching the finale and you might appreciate it more now that you already know where things are headed. It also helps if you watch it alongside someone else.
I also noticed there was a Black Panther: Wakanda Forever reference when K.E.V.I.N. asked She-Hulk to transform back to Jen because she was too expensive and that the VFX team has already moved on to another project. Then we hear the tribal drums from Black Panther.

A for - atmosphere, quirky originality and humor and daring to go its own way not another copy of another copy of xy super hero show
B for - fun characters but unfortunately not enough getting to know them
D for - bleak, hasty (non)ending where nothing happened or was resolved, just 15 minutes of an attempt at originality and being witty with 4th wall. Nothing wrong with that but it lacked any emotional or story pay off.
Was a bit of a letdown for a finale, too deus ex machina of an ending. But I can't lie if Deadpool had broke the fourth wall like that I would have loved it (though I think people should have been more shook about her showing up in the "real world") I feel like maybe it should have been a second to last episode, then once things are changed she actually goes thru with the defeating Todd in the finale, with more legal stuff; successfully arguing in court against Todd, representing herself to get her charges dropped, all the things they just hand-waived
And the post credit scene was poorly written, didn't Blonsky JUST accept prison was the karmic price he paid for his actions and now he's breaking out? I feel like Wong should at least have to convince him he can do more good at Kamar-Taj either as a counselor or as the Abomination.
Well they didn't quite manage to stick the landing (the Blood sample storyline went nowhere??) but the finale def had its moments. Loved the late 70s Hulk TV show intro and the trip to KEVIN'S office...
I'd give the show an overall score of 7/10. Solid effort.
I was enjoying the series right up until that last episode, like it's not even trying at this point. Maybe it's Marvel overload.
Like so many MCU shows; decent season, but they Jumped The Shark with the last episode. I don't mind Jen breaking the Fourth Wall. That's straight out of her comic book. But they took things too far. This was the weakest episode for me. I'd give the show 7/10, but the finale was a 5/10.
Having said that, credit where it's due: I lost at the OG Hulk sequence. The hallway fight is also a nice, subtle homage to Black Widow in IM2.
So the final episode maayyybbee took things too far. It's the sort of meta-ending that should probably stay in the writer's room... but then again, credit to Marvel and the show for doing something different. Taking risks is good - but it's not going to pay off every time.
Overall enjoyed the show, hoping for a season 2.
While the finale was cute and fun, it basically said fuck you to the rest of the series. Rather than set up cliched plot lines that run the length of the season and then blip them away in the last minute, give us something original and engaging that is worth investing our time in.
I liked this show less and less ea week, really enjoyed first few episodes, and never reached disliking it... until today. That was very, very lame.
I loved the series and liked the finale when she smashes the MCU tropes, but it felt very incomplete after the KEVIN stuff. This should be the penultimate episode, and it deserved a last one where it's properly shown how she dealt with the Sherdoggers in the Emil's hall and then in court.
This series was frustrating. The main character cannot preach accountability to others when she literally does not take accountability for her own actions. The series predicts what people will critique about the series, but instead of attempting to fix those mistakes they weirdly lampshade them in an attempt to inoculate themselves from criticism. I would give this a 6 out of 10 before the finale but the finale knocked it down to a 4.
It was a very strange finale. The jarring thing wasn't that She-Hulk went to Marvel Studios, it was the level of casualness they kept with going from occasionally talking to the audience, to going to Marvel Studios, having a conversation with robot Kevin Feige, then being re-inserted into the story and finishing things up. Conceptually it's beyond all the universe level stuff, beyond the time level stuff, but the way it's treated is no big deal. Overall I did like the series and it was a fun show.
I really liked it. Definitely my favorite of all the marvel tv shows. The finale wasn’t for me, but whatever. Life goes on.
Im not gonna sit here and defend she hulk to the death, but if you seriously got offended by it… you need to rethink your thought processes
