Like some of you, I was also disappointed with the finale after the K.E.V.I.N. scene. But I had a chance to rewatch the final episode with my daughter and now that I knew what to expect, I found it more enjoyable. If you have the time, I suggest rewatching the finale and you might appreciate it more now that you already know where things are headed. It also helps if you watch it alongside someone else.

I also noticed there was a Black Panther: Wakanda Forever reference when K.E.V.I.N. asked She-Hulk to transform back to Jen because she was too expensive and that the VFX team has already moved on to another project. Then we hear the tribal drums from Black Panther.

A for - atmosphere, quirky originality and humor and daring to go its own way not another copy of another copy of xy super hero show
B for - fun characters but unfortunately not enough getting to know them
D for - bleak, hasty (non)ending where nothing happened or was resolved, just 15 minutes of an attempt at originality and being witty with 4th wall. Nothing wrong with that but it lacked any emotional or story pay off.

Was a bit of a letdown for a finale, too deus ex machina of an ending. But I can't lie if Deadpool had broke the fourth wall like that I would have loved it (though I think people should have been more shook about her showing up in the "real world") I feel like maybe it should have been a second to last episode, then once things are changed she actually goes thru with the defeating Todd in the finale, with more legal stuff; successfully arguing in court against Todd, representing herself to get her charges dropped, all the things they just hand-waived
And the post credit scene was poorly written, didn't Blonsky JUST accept prison was the karmic price he paid for his actions and now he's breaking out? I feel like Wong should at least have to convince him he can do more good at Kamar-Taj either as a counselor or as the Abomination.

Well they didn't quite manage to stick the landing (the Blood sample storyline went nowhere??) but the finale def had its moments. Loved the late 70s Hulk TV show intro and the trip to KEVIN'S office...
I'd give the show an overall score of 7/10. Solid effort.

I was enjoying the series right up until that last episode, like it's not even trying at this point. Maybe it's Marvel overload.

Like so many MCU shows; decent season, but they Jumped The Shark with the last episode. I don't mind Jen breaking the Fourth Wall. That's straight out of her comic book. But they took things too far. This was the weakest episode for me. I'd give the show 7/10, but the finale was a 5/10.

Having said that, credit where it's due: I lost at the OG Hulk sequence. The hallway fight is also a nice, subtle homage to Black Widow in IM2.

So the final episode maayyybbee took things too far. It's the sort of meta-ending that should probably stay in the writer's room... but then again, credit to Marvel and the show for doing something different. Taking risks is good - but it's not going to pay off every time.

Overall enjoyed the show, hoping for a season 2.

While the finale was cute and fun, it basically said fuck you to the rest of the series. Rather than set up cliched plot lines that run the length of the season and then blip them away in the last minute, give us something original and engaging that is worth investing our time in.

I liked this show less and less ea week, really enjoyed first few episodes, and never reached disliking it... until today. That was very, very lame.

I loved the series and liked the finale when she smashes the MCU tropes, but it felt very incomplete after the KEVIN stuff. This should be the penultimate episode, and it deserved a last one where it's properly shown how she dealt with the Sherdoggers in the Emil's hall and then in court.

This series was frustrating. The main character cannot preach accountability to others when she literally does not take accountability for her own actions. The series predicts what people will critique about the series, but instead of attempting to fix those mistakes they weirdly lampshade them in an attempt to inoculate themselves from criticism. I would give this a 6 out of 10 before the finale but the finale knocked it down to a 4.

It was a very strange finale. The jarring thing wasn't that She-Hulk went to Marvel Studios, it was the level of casualness they kept with going from occasionally talking to the audience, to going to Marvel Studios, having a conversation with robot Kevin Feige, then being re-inserted into the story and finishing things up. Conceptually it's beyond all the universe level stuff, beyond the time level stuff, but the way it's treated is no big deal. Overall I did like the series and it was a fun show.

I really liked it. Definitely my favorite of all the marvel tv shows. The finale wasn’t for me, but whatever. Life goes on.

Im not gonna sit here and defend she hulk to the death, but if you seriously got offended by it… you need to rethink your thought processes

After digesting the finale for 24 hours, it was pretty enjoyable. I don't know if I would've gone that far with it, but they did. It was still in line with what the show did, just turned up a bit. I definitely hope this gets a season 2 because there's still quite a bit to explore.

I have been reading more about why they chose the “villains” they did in this series and I don’t think they have contempt for the section of the audience I thought they had contempt for…

I thought they had a problem with people just debating power levels and being piggish dorks. Like meh, thats a group of people I see no real issue with. But that wasn’t who they were going after.

A friend of mine showed me this

https://www.cbc.ca/player/play/2074953283662

I didn’t realize there were legitimately groups of psychopathic reactionary bigots going online and trying to ruin peoples lives. I mean I guess I had heard vaguely that stuff like that went on but this article changed my perspective on how rampant and awful it is.

Although, ironically enough, they all produced sub-par content.

If She-Hulk had appeared in Phases 1 - 3, it would have been laughed out of court;) Luckily for the SH team, their show dropped in Phase 4 which, apart from Spider-Man: No Way Home and Werewolf by Night, has ranged from mediocre to shit-tier. The lack of quality has allowed She Hulk, an entirely forgettable show, to carve out a solid spot in the upper reaches of the current MCU.

I enjoyed the show for what it was: a light-hearted comedy(until it Jumped the Shark in the last episode). I ignored the Feminist stuff in the same way I ignored the Racism sub-plots in Black Panther; I don't care about that stuff.

Pretty much agree with all of this. I like the show for the most part but man that last episode was bad. Even my wife was like WTF is this and she tends to just watch all these shows and not say much.

Finale was hilarious.
Daredevil dropping in was a crack up. Just dropping out of nowhere literally.

Charlie Cox still nailing it as Matt Murdock.

Biggest fail for me was Skaar looking like crap.

The show completely skewering the toxic fan base shit was funny to me. But I think they missed an opportunity to have Deadpool in there arguing with K.E.V.I.N. when She Hulk walked in.

Loved the show. Much better than I had expected.

I absolutely enjoyed the goofiness and even the goofy Daredevil. As long as Daredevil's own solo show doesn't become goofy, I'm good.

CGI was BAAAD though...

Loved the retro intro. Had me cracking up how accurately the old cheese was portrayed.

The KEVIN bit was tiresome. Just...naaaw, that was plain dumb.

The season gets a 4/5, 0 turds, but the finale got 2.5/5 and 2 turds. Was just too much superfluous rubbish that didn't contribute to the story line.

I always thought Chris Pratt had the hardest working hairline in Hollywood, but nope, it's Charlie Cox

Enjoyed this overall (as someone who has read the Byrne and Slott runs of the comics) though I wish there was more time for wacky superhuman law cases.

One thing I found weird was -- and maybe I'm especially sensitized because of House of the Dragon -- how often they showed Walters' and She-Hulk's bare feet. Is this supposed to make us feel her vulnerability because something that is usually protected is uncovered? Or is this a subtle nod to how the Hulk is barefoot in monster form?

I also wasn't satisfied with the finale. I don't mind the breaking out into the writers' room and meeting K.E.V.I.N., but after all that it seemed she didn't really re-write the ending so much as skipped over the final fight scene.
