I honestly think the reason they don't deduct points for fouls more often is exactly this outcome. Too much likelihood of draws, and we can bet Dana hates draws.

Tgnoni is one of the worst refs working consistently today. He shouldn't have this job.

How do you know it was intentional?
I watched it live and the replays... he pretty obviously brings his head up and drives it back down headbutting. What do you think he forgot he had a head or something or had a mini seizure?

We had someone upkick their grounded opponent and get the fight standing, and someone else accidentally headbutt their opponent and get a point taken away.

This is just pathetic judging. How can the UFC be getting worse at this?

Honestly, a horrible look for Choi. I know he was out 3 years. However, the UFC tried to give him a layup comeback, and he botched it and cheated while doing it.

There have been fight altering head buts that didn't even get a warning. Let alone a point deduction.

Since Lewis isn't fighting in Texas, I'm pretty sure he's a lock here, even if I believe that skill wise he is the worst top 5 HW to ever grace the sport.

I don't know why people are hating on the ref. The headbutt was clear as day. We can't know for sure if it was intentional but it was blatant. Don't count on warnings
But theres almost never a deduction for fence grabbing or eyepokes. Ref called it correctly, and most other refs dont
