Who is the greatest journeyman in UFC history? Different people will have different criteria for the label of “journeyman” of course, so try to elaborate.

Also, which journeyman had the best moment?

They are no real journeyman in the UFC. The term doesn't really apply to the UFC because of the structure. Journeyman is a guy that travels from promotion to promotion to fight different people. If you want to use journeyman then you have to pick someone who that darted in and out of the UFC. I think people tend to use journeyman for guys in the promotion that never make it out of the prelims or never crack the top 15.

Journeyman is sort of like Dan Severn's career. It's almost a different promotion every single fight.

Anthony Smith. whatever is the definition of it, anthony smith is the answer. dude has lots of loses, made it up to the contender against jon jones, and could have won. dude is completely inconsistent for most part oh his career, but is still around.

Delusional as the greatest journeyman too :D

There's no real journeymen in the UFC, journeymen exist to pad prospects records and would get cut after their first three fights. If you mentioned names of anyone who's ever been ranked or had a title fight then you have no clue what a journeyman is. Furthermore, journeymen who do have 'good moments' are ruining their own future career. The point of being a journeymen is to lose and give your opponents rounds without getting hurt so you can fight again soon.

Dan Severn a journeyman? One of the pioneers of the sport? Cmon.

Elvis sinosic most of his career but he did fight for a ufc chamionship.
Maybe this makes him the best?

There seems to be about 3 different definitions for that word. Some people think if you never won a belt, you’re a journeyman. And obviously there are MANY great fighters that just couldn’t win the title.

So I just won’t name any names. Somebody always gets insulted in these threads.

Anthony Smith was a journeyman before the UFC. Has arguably mixed success since coming over and likely stays afloat due to the lack of light heavyweight talent at the moment.
