This is on top of a record 3.4% unemployment and higher wages

I do think unemployment needs to move up to 4% to drop the plateau, but that is significantly lower than 4.5-5% that the Fed was expecting.

If this was under Dump there would be 30 threads started praising the human garbage dump. But guess what it would have never happened under Dump he nearly drove the Country into the ground with job loses and people dying in the hospitals but go on. I even remember when hospitals had to setup morgues outside in trailer trucks in TN of all places not some liberal area trying to fake news lol. That's not how inflation works, the fact is prices will continue to increase it's just that with lower inflation prices will increase less.

Call me pessimistic and/or ignorant on how all of this works but I will continue to assume corporations that are currently raking in profits in the name of price raises due to "inflation" and "supply chain issues" will continue to do so because the general public has zero power in this and will continue to consume goods.

I'd be willing to bet a large sum of money that prices of shit like groceries, cars, etc etc are never going to return to pre-pandemic levels unless there is a full on collapse of the economy where people can literally not afford to live anymore.
