I don't think it was ever about supporting LGBT. It was their spokesperson basically throwing their core base under the bus, that triggered it. AB has sponsored LGBT events for years. Never felt any backlash, until some typically smug, out of touch Liberal, said the brand(Bud fucking Light, LOL) was above the core customer base and wanted to move on from them. That was where they fucked up.

The backlash ain't gonna bury InBev or AB, but it was significant enough for them to scramble to save one of their flagship brands. Who knows what ultimately happens with it.

I think its pretty clear that most people just don't want this. I think we've reached the ceiling of tolerance. You go too far telling people you're going to force this lifestyle on their children whether you like it or not. People have had enough.

You bring up some good points but I will say that the stigma will be there for a long time I was a very loyal budweiser red can drinker also ordered budweiser copper for maybe 19 years and will never buy their product again due to the stigma of ordering one at a bar it is very bad optics and image as a feminine beer now. The damage to their brand here is that Budweiser as silly as this sounds now was built as a masculine brand.

Introduction to children that they are not boys or girls at birth is advocacy for the gender “spectrum” ideology which causes general confusion especially in adolescent minds. If you think that the sudden mass transgender spike is only due to it being “more accepted” now versus a social contagion due to advocacy then I don’t know what to tell you.
