Just strange that Spence didn't even have one moment or momentum swing in the fight. Just matrix'ed him
I'm surprised by that too. Bud was laser sharp tonight. Everything was on point and he was clearly very well prepared. That was such a one-sided beatdown. Outside of the first round or two that you could give to Spence it was pure domination. Bud couldn't miss.

Who's bigger or better than Spense?
Canelo...
Charlo, certainly bigger weight at least. Also, a huge historic resume booster to be undisputed 4 belt era champ in 3 weight classes taking out 2 awesome fighters to do so.

It just seemed like a total mismatch, Crawford just was stylistically impossible for Spence to do anything effective to. That was kinda ridiculous, didn’t expect that at all, a tank like Spence being visibly destroyed by a jab christ
Bud looked a whole weight class bigger. It was odd. Even when Spense landed, it was ineffective.

Exactly. Gave the 1st to Spence then it was like Bud totally figured him out and was in there sparring an amateur.

Man I'm gutted. Hate to see a guy like Spence go out flat in a non competitive beating.

Crawford proved he was head & shoulders above.

And fk the clowns in here clowning Spence. Dude went out on his shield and tried to press the action even when it was costing him the fight.
Still made it an entertaining & great memorable fight. Still was a dog in there.

Shocking that it was Crawford's easiest fight in some time. I dont think anybody called that.

Does Boots or Charlo have anything for Bud????

Could Bud hang with Canelo???????
The thing about Crawford moving up there is........there's weight classes for a reason. Canelo is still the best boxer in the world, in my opinion, but when you go and fight the best Light Heavyweight in the World, when you started as a 140lb'er, your odds are greater that youre going to lose to guy tht walks around at 225-230lbs. Skill only goes so far, when eveything you hit a guy with has no effect at all. Much less the bigger dude actually has skill, like Bivol does. Bud might out-class the Charlo's, but he will get hurt against Canelo. Canelo is still just 33...

The most shocking thing is that, fighters that we all said had no buisness in there with Crawford, gave Bud a much harder time than Spence.
Bud literally walked right through a terminator with ease. His best performance by a landslide.
Something so odd about this.

Some fighters just show up on the big nights and have a hard time looking like studs on the B nights. Usyk is like this.

I'd like to see Bud vs canelo too but do you think canelo is any better than Spense? Or applying anything different?

He’s got more venom at 147 ; it don’t think he’s as well rounded as Floyd but the outcome is still extremely impressive considering the damage he does.
Could you imagine a ODLH period Floyd against Crawford?

Canelo is 33 with the most mileage humanly possible for a 33 year old. He's also definitely not in his prime or has regressed according to most.

I think everyone can agree that Bud has looked at the top of his game.

Spence has never been the same since the accident but Bud is still on another level. Wow, might be the most dominant first fight between two prime champions since Floyd Vs De la Hoya

Yeah, well when you have a multi-millionaire life ahead of you and you decide to drive your overpriced sports car like an entitled child while drunk then you kind of get what you get, I have no patience for that pity party.

Well that’s today’s boxing for you. That being said it was expectable. I was team Spence but I was kind of annoyed by his fans lately. I guess it matters right now, as does all the criticism regarding Bud’s management since he went up at 147. Also, this board had an history of dealing with one of Spence’s people ; as articulate as he was he had a bias and spread it.
Us that know.......know...lol

I think Canelo is more durable and will be more dangerous. He has the size & the power to land once or to land that body work that may actually change Crawford's game plan.
I cant see a guy who ate GGG's best shots 36 rounds like tic tacs going down 4 times from a 147er.

Then again I said this fight would be competitive with Errol bullying and battering his way to a win...so what do I know...

listen i like Spence enough. Thought Bud would win and I actually thought Bud would win kinda easily. But.

That was easier than I thought it would be. Pretty brutal stuff

He has, Bud is the dude right now....And yeah Canelo has a ton of mileage. If he were to settle in on a weight class more "suitable" for his frame he'd get his groove back and start smoking fools out again imo. He sort of has a "weight-goblin" thing going on where he keeps flipping weightclasses and its hurting his career. I think he should settle at MW and dominate.

Everyone was talking about Spence's power leading up to this fight, but I didn't see it. Spence hits hard when his opponent is right in front of him and gives him time to sit down on his shots. Crawford was moving around too much and making Spence reach, so Spence couldn't power on his shots like he usually does. His footwork isn't great for a guy at that level. Spence sometimes loses balance throwing a 1-2 while moving, it's just that his previous opponents weren't good enough to make him pay for it.
