Trained with Jose Aldo and Shogun Rua at a seminar in 2010, Wanderlei was there too but didn't train with us, just gave us instructions.

Aldo and Shogun were legit humble and approachable guys. Not the "humble for a famous person/fighter" way, rather the "you'd find them humble even if you didn't know who they were" kind.

Got to roll with Aldo and light spar with Shogun. I'm way bigger than Aldo (obviously, since I got to register to Sherdog) and was surprised how easily he swiped the floor with me, for a guy not really known for his ground game. Got me in a darce.

I didn't care much for Aldo back then, went primarily to meet Shogun and Wanderlei. But by the end of the day, Aldo was my favorite fighter/athlete.

Wanderlei was kind of a dick, the first person he said hello to when walking in the gym was my then girlfriend, and did so a little too enthusiastically for my taste. Didn't say shit because I was only 18 at the time

Rashad Evans - Cool, never 6 foot like UFC billed him, 5'10'' MAX and thats even being kind... probably more like 5'9'' or 5'9'' 1/2 ,Small in person, can't believe he was LHW. Looks like a LW but with a big head.

Pat Miletech - Seemed nice enough.

John Alessio - Generic, quick.

Dan Severn - Nicest fighter I have met by far, he is so awesome and will chat to you about anything, not just MMA, but anything in life, he is super intelligent and a gentleman. Really gave a good impression. Loved him <3

Uriah Faber - Yeah nice guy and chatty, polite, seemed cool.

Tyron Woodley - Generic, quick.

Jim Miller - Awesome guy, he was very chatty and cool.. I liked him, he was the 2nd coolest fighter in person after Dan Severn.

Paul Varelans - Huge in person and wears a eye patch, his hands were so big.. his hands in person are really like the size of Bear, his name the Polar Bear is really suited!!!! his hands really are like a Bears paw. This was around 2004 time, he was a security guard and said doesn't watch the fights.. I was asking him what he thought about the Chuck vs Randy rematch and he said he doesn't know who they are and doesn't follow etc etc

Stipe Miocic - Generic, quick.

Some other fighters I met but they are just King of the Cage fighters, never been in UFC, don't want to bore with all of them

Was a good friend to one of the top coaches in MMA. He moved, and we never spoke again. He got too famous apparently. Also randomly met Jacare in a parking lot. I did the crocodile motion with my arms, because I forgot his name. His people asked if I wanted a photo. I said 'sure', but wasn't thinking abut a photo op, cause I'm not that kind of person.

Met Kendall Grove as he passing by us in Vegas. We were leaving the casino and he was walking inside. He had 2 guys with him I said ‘Hey Kendall’ he didn’t even respond back. Might not have heard me
