Max is a soft 5"10 they are not close to the same height. Look at the pic of Conor and max barefoot at there weigh in which i posted above . And everyone says conor isn't 5"9 which I believe he is.

One common opponent they had was Dustin and max got smoked twice by him.

While justin took him to hell in the first fight and finished him in the 2nd!! That's the only common opponent that matters considering you want this fight at 155lb and that's the last weight max&Dustin fought at.

If Izzy had taken Jan to a highly controversial SD, he would have the right imo. Volk is widely regarded as #1 p4p. That should give you extra credit

Dustin is bigger but anyways, Max is the biggest weight cutter at FW. Gaethje is not a big LW.
The size/weight difference is nothing we dont regularly see in plenty of match ups in every division.

To claim that "Gaethje kills Max" as if its not even a competitive fight or Max would come in as a massive underdog is way out of touch, even if I'd put my money on Gaethje

I also think Justin would kill max. Justin has big power and has taken shots from power guys. Max does not have much power and Justin could walk right through him. I definitely see Justin stopping max inside of 3 rounds

Max and Gaethje dont get into the cage in much weight disparity. They are the same height. Max is just one inch shorter.

Its reported, very easy to check. Its a sign of respect to at least check your facts in a discussion.

Gaethje can certainly win and would probably be the favourite, but Max has had close odds with Volk and Poirier, and would have with Justin Gaethje.

People here need to rewatch Poirier vs Holloway 2 to remember how much damage Poirier put on him. Poirier came the closest out of anyone to dropping Max, he almost got dropped if not for falling into the cage.

If Max doesn't put the proper time in to bulk up for LW he would have a very hard time. Someone like Gaethje would not respect the power that Max would be throwing at him.

I wouldn't count Max out but last time he went up against a hard hitting LW he got the shit beat out of him. I think Gaethje will present the same problems for Max that Porier did. With that said this would still be an absolute spectacle and huge fight.

I love the fight, just not right now. I'd like gaethje to get his last crack at a title. Maybe volk will get in his way, but maybe not. We can wait until that happens before booking justin.
