I noticed in the press conference that Strickland didn't seem to want to make eye contact with Israel during the staredown.

It's even more noticeable here at the weigh ins, Strickland seems like he can't hold eye contact with Adesanya for more than a couple seconds and looks noticeably fidgety and nervous IMO.

It's like after he looks into Adesanya's eyes he can't help but look away to the crowd but tries to play it off and tells Izzy to "calm down china man" while his body language seems unconfident.

What say you shookologists, is he scared or nah?

I still say Sean looked nervous before the fight, he even said in the post fight interview that he was doubting himself before the fight.

I said in a post before the fight even happened that the nerves could help Sean perform better.

I definitely thought Izzy would win, I know this comment won't go down well but I think Izzy being so hesitant played a big factor in the outcome of the fight.

So many people misinterpreting what I said and getting all emotional.

All I said is he looks nervous/scared. That doesn't mean he won't perform well. Sometimes being nervous helps fighters perform better.

That being said, Israel flatlines him in less than 2 rounds.
