Social HK Edgerton argues confederate flag is 'Heritage Not Hate'.

keep up with that small dick energy. Believe
In yourself!

This is why I call you kid. You're quoting fucking Greta Thunberg for your insults. Do you watch a lot of tiktok and play fortnite too?

There is no lie as there is no claim. Its just you making a random antagonistic comment in response to something I didn't say. You're a race baiting idiot.

You're a race baiting idiot. You run into every single one of my threads with 'As a black man' and then turn into the whiniest pussy when your race card bullshit doesn't work on anyone.

Go ahead, deny that you drop your race into convos when nobody asks. Learn something about identity politics, fool.

Are you asking why the losing side of a war doesn’t abandon their culture and fall in line with the people who defeated them?

{<huh}

What side? The confederacy doesn't exist anymore it's non-entity. Anyone who is flying the flag today has nothing to do with the confederacy.

If only the states that seceded made declarations of secession and explained their reasons for joining the Confederacy...oh, wait:

"A Declaration of the Immediate Causes which Induce and Justify the Secession of the State of Mississippi from the Federal Union.

In the momentous step which our State has taken of dissolving its connection with the government of which we so long formed a part, it is but just that we should declare the prominent reasons which have induced our course.

Our position is thoroughly identified with the institution of slavery-- the greatest material interest of the world. Its labor supplies the product which constitutes by far the largest and most important portions of commerce of the earth. These products are peculiar to the climate verging on the tropical regions, and by an imperious law of nature, none but the black race can bear exposure to the tropical sun. These products have become necessities of the world, and a blow at slavery is a blow at commerce and civilization. That blow has been long aimed at the institution, and was at the point of reaching its consummation. There was no choice left us but submission to the mandates of abolition, or a dissolution of the Union, whose principles had been subverted to work out our ruin."

What does slavery have to do with race?

Nothing, every race on earth has been enslaved at one point. Both you and Candace Owens have made this clear.

Why are you trying to bring race into everything, race baiter?

Well as an actual black person Ive never benefited from seeing endless images of enslaved, poor, and downtrodden black people or hearing endless rhetoric about racist white people. Nor do I think your typical African American studies does anyone any good. I don't know the specifics about the Florida curriculum but its not a big issue for me or anyone I know. I appreciate your zeal and advocacy for my rights and well being as an African American but I can speak for many of us when I say no thanks. We don't need you fighting and creating conflict with other people on our behalf. We don't need you shoving slavery down our childrens throats. You only cause more problems for us and for others.
So the status quo is acceptable to you? Self hatred is tragic

Symbols mean different things to different people. A swastika could be a sign for someone who hates Jews, or it could be a Native American symbol of the four winds. The real question is what is the intent of the people using the symbol.

The intent of the people using the Confederate Flag was to secede from the Union because they wanted to keep black people as property.

Always saw that flag in terms of southern pride not racism.
