International Two Swedes shot dead in Brussels, Belgium raises terror alert to top level

Belgium should be on high alert, Islamic terrorists bombed a train in Belgium a few years ago killing dozens of people.

"Two Swedish nationals have been shot dead in Brussels as a football match between Belgium and Sweden was due to take place on Monday evening, police said, and Belgium raised its terror alert to the highest level."

Any single hair harmed on the head of a Swede is a tragedy.

*Puke*

I actually got into it with a few that were not going to make way for me and my Finnish friend on the sidewalk as we approached each other. My Finnish friend got against the wall like a pussy. I plowed through them dropping a shoulder on the biggest one (who was smaller than me). What a bully I am. I whipped around and barked at them with my American accent. I think it shocked them. It also shocked my Finnish friend who told me later that they do not confront dicks like that in his country. I was thinking that if I was walking with a few of my bros, that may have been a full on ass kicking.

You should've gone walking through that Brussels hood with @TheGreatA, it would've been carnage in the streets.

I had the pleasure and displeasure of going to Brussels the week after their airport bombing (Muslims). It's a fantastic place if you are on the proper side of the main strip. One side has a bunch of Muslims that have destroyed old churches and architecture with graffiti and more. The Muslims migrated to Belgium, yet don't respect the people, culture, infrastructure, or beauty the nation provides. What a bunch of assholes.

I went to this amazing garden near my hotel. They had armed military out front with full automatic rifles guarding the place.

What a beautiful place!

Also, whatever beer you order... it's served in a glass made for that beer.

I'm a fan of Belgium, but not their recent immigrants.

My wife and I spent a couple of days in Brussels in May and decided to go on a 10km walk one day to explore the city. I’ll definitely be doing my research next time because we ended up in the shitty part of town for a long time. I should’ve just spent more time in Bruges.

No way in hell that I'd ever visit Brussels. Been to Netherlands a couple of times and that was more than enough.

We don't really have that many ethnic gangs here in Finland so people haven't really learned how to deal with them (apart from the street guys). They're a relatively new phenomenon. It takes time for Finnish people to adjust their attitudes, but in time they will.

There's a history of deadly violence in Finland, resulting from drunken confrontations, so people, by nature, tend to avoid unnecessary conflict. It's only relatively recently that we've reached "civilized nation" status when it comes to violent crime/homicide rates. Situations tended to go from 0 to 100 pretty quick, people weren't accustomed to the sort of "ball-busting" you have between men in many other countries, even a single word that implied a lack of respect could set things off. It's not usual for people to go around acting disrespectful and aggressive to random people, because the consequences have been known to be heavy. A lot of the people I knew from my youth who had anger issues, are now either dead, in prison or frequently staying in a mental ward. The society kind of tends to shut you out if you start acting all "macho", but when faced with these sorts of openly hostile, openly disrespectful groups that don't adhere to the same "unwritten rules" as everyone else, you have to stand your ground.

I'm actually surprised by the low amount of terror attacks considering the Western-backed genocide of Palestinians happening right now.

Except he did it in response to muslims killing 1400 Israeli civilians while broadcasting it on tiktok.

Which makes him no better than the Hamas shit-bags torturing and killing children in Kibbutz last week. Stabbing a six year old child, of any nationality, to death is the act of a coward.

It's just weird how something like this happens and it's major news on Sherdog, but the stabbing in USA doesn't even get a thread.

Both perpetrated by retards, let's face it.

nothing short of perfection will change their mind but the funny thing is if they did significantly better than the local population they would complain about other things

Incredibly stupid thing to do. Sweetens done know harm to Muslims and sheltered their refugees. Acts like this are going to end up having repercussions for a bunch of innocent people of the Muslim faith. This guy is only hurting his cause. If he even has one other than being a hateful murderer

"Western backed genocide" lmao.
One of the main reasons the people in Gaza aren't starving is because of (largely) western aid.

But no, they voiced moral support for Israel striking back at Hamas, so they support "genocide"

Let's just say that if the west turned a blind eye to the region, it would be far worse for the Palestinians

well looks like the belgians shot this lunatic

BRUSSELS, Oct 17 (Reuters) - The gunman who killed two Swedish citizens in Brussels on Monday may have been arrested on Tuesday, the Belgian capital's mayor Philippe Close told BFM TV.

"It seems indeed the suspect has been neutralised," Close said after reports of an arrest in a cafe in the Schaerbeek borough of Brussels.

Interior Minister Annelies Verlinden told VRT broadcaster that automatic weapon found on the "neutralised person" was the same as the same as the one used during the attack

The 45-year-old Tunisian gunman also wounded a third Swedish citizen in what Prime Minister Alexander De Croo called a brutal terrorist attack.

Prosecutors had said earlier that they were awaiting confirmation that it was the suspect.

The country has raised the security alert status of its capital city to the highest level, with increased police presence, particularly for Swedish people and institutions, and warned the public to be extra vigilant and avoid unnecessary travel.

the more of this trash europe lets in, the more we will have shit like this happening.
immigration to europe should go to 0 for at least a generation.

It's putting a good-sized dent in the whole appeal of visiting and spending any time in Europe, which are the cities and surplus amounts of cultural history. There are no natural wonders or scenery over there that the American West doesn't have on a much grander scale, save for maybe Norway's fjords. No, people go to Europe for the cities: the artwork, architecture, archeology, history, and local culture.

It was a fuckin' hilarious joke walking around eastern Oslo with the Adhan and Islamic prayers blasting out of the mosques on LOUD SPEAKERS and echoing [echo, echo] through the streets, shit had me looking around for the god damn Kaaba and thinking, "which country am I in?" Thankfully, the other side of the city actually felt Norwegian. But to be fair, I already knew this beforehand and just decided to check it out. I was over there for (and stayed) in Bergen.

a large parte of the european landscape, with all that entails is still safe, so if an american wants to visit the beautiful nature of europe, it's still there. but as you said, it's not like america lacks that. it's somewhat fungible.
you could also see lifestyle - the morning life in small italian or french towns, fishing early in the morning in the mediterranean, late greek dinners with dancing and portokalopita and ouzo, so many like this which do indeed make european culture unique.
also unique, the architecture of old in the cities, the art, etc, but to see that, especially in western cities, you have to risk being robbed or even killed by trash that brings ZERO to our civilization and are only here to profit from it and destroy it.
unless we wake up to protect our culture, we are lost.

Oh, I know there's plenty of beauty to be found in the European countryside(s). I just don't think I'd take an entire trip across the Atlantic to see that specifically; but I mean, I essentially have the Grand Canyon in my backyard and make easy day trips to the south rim and hit the trails whenever I want. It's an incredible privilege that isn't lost on me. On the other hand, there is a rather enormous list of European archeological sites, art museums, and other architectural landmarks that I'd hypothetically love to see and visit one day.

On that note: this sort of shit is so goofy.

Overlooking Amsterdam’s Museumplein Park, the Rijksmuseum is no slight undertaking, as far as museum visiting goes. Boasting a collection of some 6,000 pieces, it can easily take five hours to explore in its entirety. These recommendations span many of the greatest names from the Dutch Golden Age of painting. You may notice that this list is overwhelmingly white and male. That is because the Rijksmuseum is notably limited in terms of diversity.

????

Uh, yeah? Imagine how fucking backwards it would be if the Golden Age of Dutch painting wasn't overwhelmingly white, male and notably limited in terms of diversity? What are you even talking about, bro.
