How does the fight go?

If Fury had just shortened up that punch and turned it over it would have done real damage. Not sure why he did that.
He tried his best not to punch Francis the whole fight...

Dude cheated, lands a cheapshot elbow on Francis and it doesn't even faze him. There seemingly was nothing that Fury could throw at Francis to faze him

Francis is the true king tonight

Imagine they bring over Usman and Izzy as well. Just start throwing this type of money around PFL events, UFC would have to start paying dudes more or they will lose a lot of talent
They will definitely compete for 2nd place

Execs of big, successful companies make bad decisions (including emotional or even petty decisions) all the time.

UFC clearly mishandled the Francis situation and it's glorious to see everything play out as it has with Francis and with the UFC HW title picture.

Ariel might be fired up now...but he will also have some prepared shit talk on Monday lol

Dana routinely trashes fighters and people who he has beefs with. The UFC and Ngannou mutually parted ways but Dana kept talking shit throughout the whole negotiations and after.

I was shocked people gave Francis no shot at this fight. Fury is obviously the more skilled boxer buts it’s the heavyweight division. That’s what’s separates this fight vs Floyd/Conor. All it takes is one punch from a 270lb+ man. People act like trained fighters wouldn’t be able to land a punch against a pro boxer. Conor even landed on Floyd and if it was in the heavyweight division the impact would have been a lot harder.

To be fair Ngannou got outboxed by Black Beast of all people… no doubt Jonesey boy would’ve murked that fat out of shape version of Fury.

The only person Jon is beating on the feet these days is his wife after a bender of coke and hookers. Fury woulda slept him.

After watching the Fury vs. Ngannou fight, I believe that modern boxing has been overestimated in comparison to the sport's earlier stages. Many people discuss the idea of evolution and argue that guys like marciano wouldn't stand a chance in today's era due to starting his career so late. Figures like Primo Carnera and Buddy Baer are considered less skilled compared to contemporary boxers, but you have just witnessed how a 37-year-old man with a talent for fighting but a "primitive" style showed competitiveness against the heavyweight champion.
There wasn't anything that was primitive that Francis did in their tonight. He looked like a seasoned pro. Multiple former world champion boxers have also said at times and in different scenarios Francis looked more like a champion boxer than Fury did tonight.
Its also HW boxing, which is far less skilled than the lower division. Let's not take anything from Francis but let's also acknowledge that Fury looked like and came in at absolute shit shape.

What MMA fighter close to Crawford, Boots, Bivol, Biev, Canelo, Benavidez, or Tank's weight stand a chance with those guys ?????

Lewis is one of the hardest punchers in MMA. Having that power changes a lot. Its the reason Jon ducked Rumble and went on a coke binge hit and run out of the fight.

Lewis was trained by George Foreman too. Jon has NO power in his punches.

It would be great.

I already love the PFL format of champions having to fight multiple times a year to be champions. Next man up, no one sitting on their spot.

Their only problem is most of their current fighters are boring as shit no names.

I also wish they would drop some of the dead divisions and focus 100% of their resources on building up other divisions. Imagine instead of a $1 million W155 tournament, they had a $2 million WW tournament. Is there even one current UFC WW that wouldn't be tempted to jump for that?

Im with you for the most part... they need to get some of the talent to jump but i dont think less divisions are necessary if anything bring some more in and increase the number of shows per year... W155, W145,135,125,115,105 .. and then men HW, LHW , Mw,WW,LW FW..and maybe stop there...i dont think we need 135/125...but could work... With these many divisions they could maybe run shows close to the same schedule strength as UFC and Fighters can even go up and down too depending on time of the year...so one fighter loses there chance at the MW tournament then they can go for the WW if they want...a guy like USman can fight alot like this ...or a few other in-betweeners..

Theres definitely opportunity for PFL and Ngannou just brought alot of eyes over to them

Big monster ufc fighter being hard as fuck to knockout and can hit hard. Im shocked people taught this was going to be walkover.

Im so happy man i truly i am.
it always pays to be in the right side of history. months ago
i was one of the few defending francis. there were others but it wasnt alot.
The thing is ive seen this story play out. like i said GOD sees all.

it makes no sense that francis didnt have no back up....
it makes no sense.
I posted here everytime that I hoped for Francis to stay composed and survive, not being too embarrassed. Never imagined he'd actually win. That was fantastic. Loved it.

lol pro boxing debut bout and takes the champ to a questionable split decision, whoever is not impressed should have his shit checked. This was stuff you only see in movies.

Ironically Francis did himself a disservice by not reacting to it. Real time it could have looked like nothing to the ref.

I'm amazed it didn't cut him.

And with Ronaldo sat right there...

Funny how “MMA fans” on this site act all happy that Big Frank is going to make “real money” outside of the UFC… but then brag about streaming lol. How do you expect this guy to get paid? If you have the means, gotta buy the PPV.

Try being a man for once in your life little bro.

I've bought more PPVs than you've gotten handjobs in your life and have more money than I literally know what to do with at this point (I bought $eth at $3). I enjoy circuses when they're free, and don't passively support the gradual price increases turning combat sport into a $5000+/year hobby because I wasn't always in the position I'm in and have many friends all over the world that can't afford it. I buy PPVs for fighters I want to support, like Poatan. I could give a fuck less about Francis, Fury, or the Saudis. You aren't a bigger fan for allowing yourself to be milked by corporations making record profits, exerting record mergers, and taking a larger share of profits over fighters than even the Yakuza days.
I find it astounding that your main flex in this thread has been your lack of financial intuition. I'm not your "little bro" and would physically dominate you as well as intellectually. Good luck in life, we won't be interacting till your next account.
