How does the fight go?

It seems no one is mentioning the clinch work of Francis, it was beautiful, every blow he lands is powerful and I’m sure when the tape is watched again people will realize why fury was tantative and stunned
Francis short range power is the best in MMA. He has knocked people out with very close range shovel hooks and uppercuts.
Fury does a lot of clinching and wearing down his opponents gas tanks. Francis was making him pay in the clinch and at close range. This made him look more tentative than usual.

It's similar with Strickland vs. Izzy. Fury was winning initially but not troubling Francis too much. Fury lost the second round and got caught trying to pick it up in the third.

After feeling his power and realizing he can't mess around in the clinch either the biggest advantage he had was nullified. Francis was the one actually beating him up in the clinch so Fury had to make several on the cuff adjustment in that fight.

Francis was still a bit slow with his punches, but his timing, ability to not bite off on faints, composure and ability close distance were fantastic.

lol Fury really fucked up this one. Francis was no joke after all.

I've been here all day retard.
I was hoping for Ngannou to knock him out, BTW.

Fury left a shit stain on the sport of boxing tonight
Even bigger than Floyd ducking for decades and putting on boring fights
Boxing is dead in the water

Not really impressed. He landed 1 good shot. Overall ngannou was inactive and cautious. Waiting to counter and mostly hitting air.

boxing fans now:

- calm down MMA fans
- boxers these days aren't good at all
- Fury was out of shape and didn't train
- Fury didn't take him seriously
- Fury was paid to keep the fight going

y'all are funny.

Eh, maybe. I’d like to see Ngannou fight another contender. Then we’ll have a better idea. One thing is for sure, he created more fights….as opposed to steroidal Jones…how’s that steroid assisted injury, JJ?

Gane can kick and he's pretty elusive, although I do think Ngannou was definitely not 100%.

If Gane could grapple he'd be a very, very difficult man to beat.
If Gane could grapple he would be the goat.

no im talking about when he left the ufc and everybody was thrashing on Francis. like with cyborg tyron and others.
i wont get to deep but i know whats up. i said the same with ALI. everyone hated ALI, but now hes everyone favorite. I know this cause
my GRANDPA who was a boxer and from back in the days TOLD ME. and i just saw it play out right now.

but whatever. as long as THE COMMUNITY ALL LEARN and stop hating. then all is forgiven. and we can start by apologizing to guys like Aljo cyborg and other mma fighters who got bashed for no reason. Again its ok to cheer or boo for whoever you want just people need to stop with the VILE ANGER. BTW IM NOT TALKING ABOUT YOU im just saying in general.
I can't understand much of that. Try using these: "," "."
And the caps... I realize you probably don't mean to be unbearable, but no one will ever pay attention to anything that poorly written.
I won't. Bye.
Edit: just noticed the username. Lol.

dana or the ufc did not fumble the bag he is not worth the money he is getting. the ufc brand was promoted all over the show and not a single mention of the PFL who he is currently signed with. If anyone fumbled the bag its PFL. Ngannou was never a draw and he is not a outspoken guy, after a few weeks the casuals will forget who this guy is. After the fight he should have called somebody out.

Everyone - from fans to experts to commentators - said Ngannou had zero chance to win. I personslly tipped Fury to win by KO in the third. Why did we all have it so wrong?! I genuinely want to understand.

Common claims included:

- Fury will win whatever round he chooses to win
- Fury will make Ngannou look silly
- Ngannou looks TERRIBLE on pads and can't box
- Ngannou won't have power in boxing gloves

Turns out Ngannou wasnt phased by anything Fury did, even the illegal elbow he threw, which was by far his best shot.

Fury and all of boxing were just humiliated by a guy in his first boxing fight after over two years lay-off against one of the supposed all time greats.

Its abundantly clear that in a real fight Ngannou or any MMA guy smokes him. Ngannou was only using 10% of his weapons (no elbows kicks knees takedowns, clinch, grappling, submissions etc etc etc)

But why and how was Ngannou able to have so much success in Furys sport, even with 90% of his skillset taken away?

It's just embarrassing...
Real fight Fury wins.
You should go look up what his family is known for in real fights.
They're moves in real fights negates all grappling techniques. It's banned in sport, because everyone would do it and win easy. It's called eye gouging, and they are fantastic at it.

It also seems pretty clear in retrospect that Francis wasn't using an excuse in the Gane fight re his knee. He really was fighting injured to just finish his contract in a spot the UFC likely didn't want to let him out (bc they wanted their champ who was going to leave to lose to Gane). I always believed that. Watching the fight he just looked compromised to me. And this performance cemented that take.

Because no rational person thought a 0-0 boxer would be competitive with the HW champ?
I understand that but why question is, why was he competitive? I guess this proves the crazy levels involved with MMA. No way Fury will ever step into an octagon with Frank now as he claimed he would. He wouldn't last 30 seconds.

I mean Norway at a population of 5.4 million people, has almost double that in their PIF at 1.4 trillion. The difference is other countries public wealth funds don't get spent like they are rappers

Norway bless... I heard its one of the best places to live ..along with sweden...

We all could learn from them
