When someone in your custody says they can't breathe then believe them. Don't ignore them like what happened to Eric Garner and especially don't continue to push down on their back or put your weight down on their neck with your knee. It's pretty laughable that some of you still defend this guy while he's on video ignoring about half a dozen bystanders pleading for the guy's life. Even if you want to blame an OD on the guy dying that's just all the more reason to give him aid instead of compressing his neck with your knee.

This is a shit take. It doesn't take any type of superhuman effort to take your knee off a guy's neck and sit him up. Because the guy was either ODing or he was resisting arrest vigorously enough to warrant 3 cops holding him down and illegally choking him.

I am not sure there’s anyone on this forum that hates blm as much as I do. Since 2013, these destructive twats and thugs have been rioting, looting, attacking, burning, and killing. They do all this for the biggest pieces of shit they can possibly find. I could rattle off a huge list. Huge. But there are a few things I am certain of in this incident.
1. Derek chauvin did not purposely kill Floyd-he tried to accommodate Floyd by letting him out of the car when he absolutely should not have. He was a cop a long time and had heard many people complain and try to fake a medical crisis to avoid jail and he had become numb to those complaints.
Whatever Floyd died it and how he died were not chauvins intention that day
2. Floyd was a piece of shit but he didn’t deserve to die on that particular day. By now, and this issue has been beaten to death worse than Floyd, he did a home invasion at a pregnant woman’s house and held a gun to her stomach and threatened her baby. I can’t remember if she was a normal person or they were looking for drugs or drug money-but he did that and it makes him a total POS and definitely not the “gentle giant” and “hero” that sleazeball ambulance chaser ben crump calls him.
3. 99.9% of the people that rioted, burned, looted, attacked police and anyone unfortunate enough to be white and in a vehicle near these riots-would have stepped over Floyd’s twitching body if he had been shot in gang violence or overdosed on drugs and would never know his name or give two shits about him. They might have filmed it for tiktok or taking selfies with him, but would not have cared one bit about his death if it weren’t a cop.
4. Derek chauvin was railroaded. From the weight of the highest levels of the government to the the high power and prestige celebrities to the worldwide response to the smoldering buildings left over from the “racial reckoning” that swelled up like one of George’s fentanyl highs-Derek chauvin could have never been found anything but guilty in this case. He got bent over by the legal system and they went in raw and didn’t even have the courtesy to spit on it first, and then came the federal government shove a salty pickle up his bleeding maw of an asshole and charge him federally as well after he was already convicted and sentenced to well over what many life long criminals had been sentenced to (7-10 years for many cases i found where someone actually meant to kill their victim) and added many years. And not only was he railroaded, but every officer on that call-even the rookie that said maybe they should roll him to his side because of what he was told in the academy he just finished.

It’s possible he was in serious medical distress without chauvin kneeling on his neck-and that certainly didn’t help the situation. He ignored multiple pleas for help and the cries that he couldn’t breathe-for almost 9 minutes. I hate chauvin for what he did to American law enforcement, America in general, the riches he bestowed upon ben crump and Floyd’s family just for being family with a shitbird criminal-the new ghetto lottery-you just gotta pick a family member for their turn in the barrel. And for all the shitbags and their families that benefitted from the Floyd effect. For the statues of this shitbag, for the echoes of his name for eternity, for the lives lost, country torn in half(trump helped a ton with that as well and covid) and all the money given to the biggest grift in America next to mega churches, blm. Yeah, you could say I hate Derek chauvin a hell of a lot. But his lack of empathy and human decency led to a man dying, whether it was completely from being under his boot or not, but that man rose a martyr and will have forever changed the country. So in short, fuck him. If he gets a new trial, he will get convicted again despite what some spurned prosecutor says, and that will all be because people are terrified of what will happen if they free him. His life is worth the sacrifice to too many people.
