You are correct that he didn't have 4 defenses but rather 3. Not sure you can claim he is not anywhere near being on the GOAT list. Pretty sure the OP is referring to that list being the GOAT of each division. When you look at the GOATs of each division who is sporting a better resume at LW then Khabib? You may have an answer but you can't really claim Khabib is vastly inferior to you LW GOAT regardless of who that would be.
It's the GOAT of each division which is why both Aldo and Volk are there, and Cruz isn't?

Nah, it's just another dumb attempt to try and lump Khabib into the GOATs.

Its Jones for me, and here's why.. he not only defended the belt so many times but he never ever even got rocked or dropped, let alone knocked out, and thats all against HWs basically because remember they are nowhere near 205 on fight night. To not even get dropped against all those heavy hitters he fought who have proven records of knocking guys out, just makes Jones so special.

His resumes is so impressive when you look at the names on it, and like I said to never be truly hurt in any of those fights says a lot!!.

I think you might be reading too much into it. Cruz is quite likely the BW GOAT when you include WEC but not sure its truly a consensus. Having Volk and Aldo on there is begging the question as to who is the FW GOAT but they both have noteworthy streaks which is the OP's basis for the discussion.

Khabib 100% has to be in the discussion for LW GOAT and with the OP's topic being GOAT streaks 29-0 has to be up there. Not sure how you can argue Khabib isn't even in the discussion whether it is GOAT LW or having the GOAT winning streak. Has anyone ever gone 29-0 on a streak in high level MMA?

JJ/KN

Tricky, cuz they both owned everyone.
They were my # 1 and 2, but with order reversed. My thinking was had Khabib not retired, his win/title streaks would have continued for quite a few fights because there were (and probably still are) no threats to him at lightweight/featherweight/welterweight. I respect his respect for his mother! I still wonder what would happen if she passes...

Khabib was like that too. Never knocked down, only taken down 2 or 3 times, and took less damage than than any mma fighter. His streak would have continued for quite a while if not for his respect of his mother.

I got Aldo. He made his first 7 title defenses look like cake walks and they were against great talent. BTW he had 9 title defenses, people tend to forget that.

His resume is insane and fought harder competition than most the people on that list.

Silva has the win streak record, but Jones has the longer undefeated record which the UFC mentions every time he fights.

It's a dumb thing to still pretend Silva's record hasn't been broken. Jon's at it in title fights alone.
I think by record Jones is best. But by how they did it, Silva just has the best finishes and looked the best.

Bullshit 12/6 elbow but ok.
Reyes- afraid not
USADA- never got caught but I couldn’t caee less.
