Elections MAGA Republican Pledges “End of Democracy”

It was an obvious mocking of the phrase "threat to our democracy" constantly used by MSM and democrats.

Also, his blueprint for "ending democracy" was literally a list of everything the Biden admin has done in the past few years. He went on to say:

"This is their 'democracy.' This is the regime that we will overturn. They say democracy but they mean authoritarianism and we know it"

So the left took a sound bite out of context and ran with it.

Well I would say that's surprising but that would be a lie.

Wait, so the libtards fell for an out of context clip? Well, I am shocked

Lol@"he's just a shock jock speaking in hyperbole"

As if conservative pundits arent outright saying stupid sh*t like that the US needs a "strongman"...or "the US isnt really a democracy"...and suggesting that other leaders who became dictators but were initially democratically elected is ok because "that's what the people wanted."

Just say youd like a dictator because you'd prefer everyone be forced to live how you think they should rather than deal with the Country changing in ways that terrify you and be honest about it. All the hand-waving and denialism is beginning to stink of cowardice.

A shock jock speaks to a group of radicals and then they shoot up a pizzeria or attack the Capitol. That type of vitriol is dangerous and indoctrinates people into believing they're justified in taking violent action.

I'm half German and my family moved to Canada immediately following WWII.

My grandfather died when I was young and never talked about the war. My grandmother spoke of Nazi Germany one time and one time only, and she was done in seconds. She said "Hitler was a great leader until he went crazy and started killing the Jews". The tone in her voice made it clear she wasn't taking questions, it's a German thing.

In my entire life she never spoke about her life before Canada. My mother was too young to remember that life, so I'll never know.

When I hear people like @oldshadow comment on politics, I think of my grandmother. She was a good person, and he might be a good person, but nobody could have heard Hitler's speeches and been surprised by what he did, just like Oldshadow is absolutely hearing what he wants to hear drawn completely on party lines. If we were to live the worst case scenario he would absolutely pretend he didn't see it coming.

I'm focusing on him because I do believe he's a good person. There are those who WANT the worst case scenario, and while America will never be Nazi Germany and no American will ever be Hitler, it's undeniably on the road to fascism. Nobody can tell me Eyes On Education isn't McCarthyism 2.0, and there are millions of people who would support it.
