Danish domination.

Puzzled by wtf is Remco doing. Is it total lack of legs or his -7 race IQ
I think he knows tactically what he wants, but doesn’t have the help to assist him. So while Bernal has Carlos, roglic has vlasov, McNulty had jay vine, I mean fuck even skjelmose had help from pedersen. Butriago had some help.

I didn’t see anyone help remco that entire last 50 km or so. And I think when you have teams with 2-4 guys who can attack off the front and become a potential yellow jersey, it’s really hard to control a race. There’s so many players right now, and he just doesn’t have the tools to keep the race in check. So he burns himself trying to do it himself.

I think he needs to be aggressive and stop playing so reactive. He doesn’t have a team to set a pace, so he really needs to make it a TT type situation and just blow these races up. But I think he’s nervous to get countered like he did with skjelmose.

I’ll be honest I think remco without some support, it’s kinda tough to figure out how you compete in a field with SO many threats

what do you all think of Bernal so far? I think all things considered he’s riding quite well. I don’t think of him as a great stage racer, more of a GT guy. So I wasn’t expecting him to show up on my radar at a race like nice

There aren't enough "Jiffy bags" to make him a GT podium rider again.

I had to watch Vingegaard teleportation magic again. From his attack to the top took just under 12 minutes during which he gained few seconds short of 1 minute. Absolutely insane.

I'd love for Bernal to be competive for GT wins again but he would have to be in form better than he has ever been to challenge Pog and Vingegaard. But I am real happy that he has recovered to where he is now, seems like a real nice guy.

Today was what I would imagine to be perfect parcours for a patented Remco attack and solo TT with a short and steep climb 20km from finish. I'll just tell myself that because of wet conditions he was too scared to attack. PZL REMCO WE BELIFEFF IN U

Vingegaard teleportation magic about to happen any time now!

Remco: no gloves, no arm warmers.

He's either going to unleash hell or he's dumber than a box of rocks.

Was same yesterday, I believe it was around 6-8c.

Hindley attacks and only Vingegaard and Ayuso could follow. Vingegaard waits a minute or two before launching himself and dropped Ayuso and Hindley like a sack of potatoes.

I hope everyone finds someone who zip's you up like Tao

Pumped up for Paris - Nice finale, short and sweet stage with almost no flat roads. I believe that anything can happen and McNulty most likely wont win GC!

It’s a weird scenario. Evenpoel can’t go to the line with skjelmose (he’d lose the sprints), Jorgensen, or mcnulty. At this point I think it’s a four horse race. I can’t see anyone else sneaking in. I have a feeling Jorgensen has the legs.

Woah, just tuned in and the yellow jersey group is already down to 15 people

I don't understand Evenepoel. I'm sure I've posted it here before but the difference between U23 and pro cycling is that everyone can go twice in the pro peloton. The top guys can go 3 or 4 times so there are only 2 or 3 ways to make a gap stick. Crosswind, hard temp and then 3 attacks, or 3 attacks and then sub-AT for 3mins. That's it, pick one or don't bother attacking a small elite group.

I've done the Peille and Eze climbs. I've done the climb the direction they are now descending. It's pretty tough for an Alp Maritimes region climb.

The Col d'Eze from the coast side is not hard. You're basically ripping it and then taking tight turns in a residential area trying not to hit all of the parked cars on the street. It's a climb wit beautiful views but it is not hard.

Eze is a beautiful place. La Turbie (which they passed) is where the shoot out in the movie Ronin was filmed.

If you go to this area I recommend staying in Villefranche sur mer. Go into Nice for dinner or the day but hte riding out of Villefranche sur mer is much better.
