Getting cracked like that could be a problem when he starts facing power punches though.
Agreed. It wasn’t like saimaan wasn’t landing anything. Talbott was just walking through it. Optically, it didn’t seem like there’d be such a pronounced strength and power discrepancy but once the fight started, it looked like a big brother in there.

It definitely did. I think Saimann getting hurt so early took some steam off of those strikes as well.
 
It looked like Talbot really did his homework, but I gotta say I think it was an early stoppage. I'm old school though and maybe the game has changed.
 
Bantamweight is not the division to be a gunslinger who wants to go to war (when you are slow with a dysfunctional kickboxing game).

I think it was late which made it seem early. Talbott dropped him, bounced his head off the mat, Saimann woke up immediately from it, kept defending, albeit half assed, and then ate more punches while moving. Just Tognoni pulling a Herb Dean.
