News Demetrious Johnson bow and arrow chokes 6’3” 250 lbs Brown Belt Sherdogger at IBJJF Championships

Brown, it was the brown belt masters absolute.

DJ is one of those guys that should've been promoted to a blackbelt several years ago

more common the other way tho, people getting blackbelts way too quickly
This angle really shows the size difference.
Sherdogger tried to toss-around Mighty Mouse with sheer strength, but that didn’t work out, lol (swipe):

It's so funny when untrained wankers sincerely think that they could beat a Flyweight in a fight.
You can't actually be stupid enough to think any of them mean they'd try and do BJJ with them right? They're saying they'd win a street fight where they can do anything Christ.

Don't get me wrong, they're still largely being stupid. But none of them are saying they'd land a bow and arrows choke or grapple them. They're (delusionally) saying they'd just throw them into a wall or something if they had to fight them for real.

This guy couldn't even get DJ to the ground.

And they would lose badly, and it's funny as hell.

Honestly, I didn't think that a 250 lbs brown belt would lose to a 155 lbs dude. If the big guy had never rolled in his life I'd have understood but in that case dude is a brown belt...

it doesn't mean anything anymore

Very underappreciated when he was here. Such a shame it didn't work out in the UFC, but DJ has showed himself proud outside of the company. Happy to see.

i think leaving UFC was better for his legacy. to me it's clear Mighty Mouse is a better fighter than pretty much everyone at 125lb still and i think his finish of Adriano Moraes was legendary. the finishing sequence was insane, how he misdirected him, landed the right hand and then followed with the knee. master class.

That was impressive.

Goes to show you he WOULD kill someone like bradley martyn in a matter of minutes

Every time this stupidity comes up, I think of a dude that I went to high school with who won Texas state golden gloves as a featherweight.

He was 5'7", and looked like an emaciated nerd in street clothes.

I saw him wreck guys who were over 6 feet tall and 200+ lbs. in fights on multiple occasions.

People who think that being in good shape from weight training puts them on par with highly skilled fighters couldn't be any more deluded.
