Media Jamahal Hill speaks on loss, wants to fight Jiri Prochazka next

I'm not particularly fond of Jamahal, but I wouldn't say I dislike him either. I don't engage in negative talk about him, or really discuss him much at all (except for this post, of course), to be fair.

He's a skilled fighter, having been a champion at one point, and I respect that he relinquished the title rather than holding up the division when he got injured.

The main reason I can't fully get behind him is his strange passive-aggressiveness. It's like he can't decide if he wants to be a baby-face or a heel.

One moment, he's being respectful, asking for an autograph, making small talk by asking the meaning of "Chama." But then, at the press conference, he acts incredibly disrespectful, flaunting a smashed and beaten-up Moai chain and spouting off wild shit that he couldn't back up.

Be a baby-face or be the heel, you can't be both because that's some two-faced, grimy shit, and it's a bad look.

Well said.

He coming off a loss Jiri coming off a win, fight doesn’t make sense. Give him Blachowicz
I disagree, both him and Jiri were finished by Alex. They were also supposed to fight previously but injuries sidelined that and why exactly should Jan get either one of them? Jiri vs Jamahal is a great fight and should happen now.

Magomed vs Alex
Jiri vs Jamahal
Jan vs Rakic or Krylov IMO

I picked Jamahal to win and ended up looking like a fool, but he's still a top notch fighter. He just doesn't have the tools to beat Poatan yet. I'd love to see him fight Jiri, Jan, or Rakic.

Good fight but unlikely.

He's more likely to get Rakic with them both coming off a loss.

I get why he wants Jiri though, beating him theoretically puts him right back in the title picture, but I don't think he gets another shot as long as Poatan is champ anyway. He got blown out too badly, he has to do a lot of work to make that fight interesting to the casual fanbase again.

Really Hill just doesn't deserve to fight Jiri. Jiri just beat Rakic and is ahead, and really should be fighting Ank next or even a title rematch.

Still, it would be a good fight. Wouldn't really hate on it. I think Hill might really begin to nosedive if he doesn't come to terms with his lack of skills because the top 5 in the division are all going to dominate him as of now.

"least final make it happen"
"eat a lose like a man"
"they will be quite"
In the "Pereira's not on my level" thread, I had joked that the level Jamahal is on is "2nd grade reading."

I've also said a few times that, even though Bryce Mitchell thinks the world is flat, I still think Jamahal Hill might be the dumbest fighter in the UFC.

Guy should be embarrassed

I agree in the general sense. If I wanted to nitpick I could say that a gifted 2nd grade reader might be insulted being compared to Hill.

Apparently he assaulted his brother in front his wife and kids.

Nothing wrong with hashing it out that way but don't do that to a man in front of his family. That's what made me not care for him.
