There is no justification for attacking Chael if he was running his mouth as he will and should. It's a TV show and they are promoting a fight.

Do you really think that if you lose the verbal battle, you are allowed to start throwing hands next? If it wasn't two professional fighters in a set of a TV show, Chael could sue Wanderlei. In fact, he still could, and he would win it too....but of course he understands that there's much more money to be made from Wanderlei actually making it to the fight instead of jail so he won't.

Absolutely Wand would be in the wrong if he can't stand the heat and starts throwing. Maybe you are Brazilian and can't understand this? It does seem to be a very, very difficult concept to some of the brazilians on this board that you don't have any sort of right to attack someone physically, when they are just talking to you. You do that and you're automatically the stupid one, and also in the wrong in every possible way.

A lot of people here are saying it's wrong to suggest that Brazil is a third world country and the culture is pretty savage. Yet there's a bunch of people suggesting that this is what we should expect of Brazil and that it's ok in Brazil. You can't have it both ways...it either IS a savage culture (and then you should not be mad about such comments), or stop defending savage behavior.

Just like muslims always saying it's a religion of peace and then they give a death penalty to a guy in Pakistan for blasphemy. You can't say you're something else and act totally different and expect people not to call your bullshit out. Thanks for supporting exactly what I said. The fight was between George and the coach. No 3rd party member jumped in and cheap shotted anybody. George cheap shotted the guy and got rightfully knocked out for it.

Where as in this situation 2 guys were fighting and one guy was losing so his friend jumped in and sucker punched Chael.
