Official Invicta 15 Betting Thread

Just when i thought i would finally listen to Cyborg's corner...

Cyborg just said that she won't ever be at 135 lbs, and that she might do a "super fight" if it was presented to her, but that she'll stay at 145.

I assume the "super fight" would be between 140-145 lbs, which means she won't fight any UFC fighters unless Ronda wants to fight her as her last fight.

There were a couple of decent fights on this Invicta card, but overall, Invicta is crappy compared to what it was before the UFC poached their fighters.

If Holm beats Tate and Ronda think that superfight is the obvious match to make

I think Holm wouldn't mind fighting at 145 if its for a belt.

Cyborg and her management weren't easy to work with for the UFC. Doubt they feel the incentive to give Cyborg big fights, money, and negotiating power when she isn't a draw, has the steroid black mark, and fights in a dead division.

Invicta 15 Net: +227
souza +121: 200 for 242
shuckman +365: 50 for 182.50
anderson -140: 49 for 35

i'll take it, small bets both of last two nights, about +2u each night.. let's keep this shit going on UFN 81 !!

brown smokes vanhoose, kinda figured, but not laying -600. pretty much ever.. i think i like brown vs hamasaki, tho unsure how she'll do in later rounds

hill looked good, but man, alida gray has never impressed me. wasn't even interested when it climbed to +350..

pa'aluhi-schneider.. relived pa'aluhi wasn't cheaper. i would've taken her -150 or less, and would've taken schneider at +200 or higher, so it was stuck in no bet territory for me, schneider never got high enough. (darnit!) the eye injury/cut/hematoma etc seemed like it really bothered pa'aluhi all fight long. didn't think split was warranted, thought schneider clearly won

anderson-leibrock was fun for a minute or so, and then leibrock showed her inexperience etc. good gameplan by anderson, but she's still a bit stiff and has bad defense

shuckman-mizuki was great for a round. thought shuck might've edged rd 1, but it was close.. but i honestly questioned her from the very start of the fight. thought she would've been better off keeping this fight on the feet; mizuki sucks there. she just spars, doesn't commit to any punches.. if you give mizuki the ground.. just.. bad strategy to me...

souza-bennett -- ooook!! my big bet of the night cashes in a bizarre way.. i'm usually on the losing end of a random TKO that no one could see coming.. glad to be on the other side, and glad i didn't give into my wmma-fear-induced-hedge at +145 bennett etc instincts

cyborg...lol. if they offered cyborg rd 1 KO -500, i might have bet it. omg @ ibragimova's punches.. hey, she tried, she tried to get the td's etc.. it just sucks there is no one for her to fight at 145. still wanna see evinger vs cyborg 140, tho!

I brought a big bottle of powerful Cider to watch the fights with, opened an account on 32red and put £400 on Brown+Pa'aluhi and £100 on Bennett. Then I saw it started at 2am UK time so just went to bed instead

at least I still have my cider

1-2 betwise, but Souza saw me make a small profit overall, hopefully do a bit better tonight.
