Official Bellator 148 Thread

getting killed in tennis and other sports so I gotta dial it back a bit. I think I will only play the over for Patricky and over for HW fight.

I always make good coin on UFC and then blow it between events tailing random stuff.

I know that feeling, lost like 10u betting random crap last couple of days

so much for "please no tennis spoilers in non tennis thread"

fuck, so annoyed.

anyway.

feeling bradley +250 and butler +300. anyone advise otherwise?

I might hit under 1.5 in Butler/Johnson, if Butler wins then its early on but Johnson can also take this the ground and finish Butler off there as Butler seems pretty poor in that area.

I'm gonna have a small bet on Bradley, but he was losing the first fight. I had money on him in the first fight, and I lucked out with the result. I already have Butler +290 for 1u, and I'll add more if his line gets crazier.

Did anybody get the alerts working for bf, still havnt received my bellator alerts
I haven't had any problems with the alerts from BFO. I received alerts for this Bellator card.

props up

whoa. tony johnson DEC is +585.. wait, i think i just realized.. they mixed up johnson and butler props...

tread carefully

basically by smotherfuck to decision, as joe budden said. again not a confident play but i will throw some light cash on it

i don't get this at all, you think couture can take freire down?

No way they can expect someone to know that. $40 on Johnson DEC prop. Small enough wager that they probably won't cancel it if they do switch the lines.

it's pretty clear. the -500 favorite is high +odds for both itd and dec, while the +300 dog is -odds for itd and smaller +money for dec.

as expected, they flipflopped johnson-butler props.

they're fixed, now.

i'm so annoyed that i bet it before realizing that it was a mistake line. now i can't bet johnson dec +345 like i want to. cause idk if they're honoring the +585.

...wish they'd open the freire-couture props, tho, wth. they stopped before releasing those ones

haha, i whine, they oblige!

...sadly, pitbull dec is only +115. that's ABSOLUTELY my pick for the fight, but i already have o2.5 -120. so meh.

I hit Freire DEC at +115. FWIW, last time I bet a Bellator prop for $40 or so that was switched shortly thereafter they did honor it. I think I lost anyway.

man i know you love a value underdog but i definitely don't have any smart analysis on this one, just a hunch based on couture's wrestle-heavy gameplan, pitbulls inconsistency and pitbull's late notice. we all know couture is gonna be at an atrocious striking advantage, so i think he's gonna look to smother, grind against the fence and yeah i think it's possible he could score takedowns (esp later in the fight)

i know pitbull is a bjj blackbelt but i can't remember what he's like off his back

yea, idk. i like dogs as much as the next bettor, but that's how how i see couture winning.. i think he needs to somehow get patricky's back in a scramble or catch him w/a triangle, etc.. and like you said, patricky has the bjj background.. i just think this is a bad stylistic matchup for couture. patricky's cardio seems generally decent enough for 15 mins to avoid the bad spots, imo

I don't call what Ryan Couture does as a "wrestle-heavy" game plan. He likes to grind people against the fence, but he doesn't go for take downs, nor is he good at take downs. It's like his dad taught him how to get in close on people and grind them, but forgot to teach him how to do any damage while in the clinch and take people down.

I totally forgot about the weigh ins. Did anybody see them?

Oh wow, they didn't even happen yet? That is pretty late
