Official Bellator 150 Thread

I'm on Ruth +180. Really think this is a pick 'em fight.

3u on Grove
2u on Ruth

might make a fun bet on Kongo if grove and ruth win.

I joined you guys on Rebecca Ruth. Don't want to be the only one not making money!

me and my big mouth. you guys all stole my price! i wanted ruth +200 or better

(meanwhile, i have no clue how she is on the ground, i just think she has a good stand-up edge; better hands)

Not sure if we should read too much into this but Kendall Grove told Frank Trigg is his MMA Oddsbreaker interview that he trained at home in his garage in Hawaii with one main training partner instead of in California or elsewhere for this fight because his older brother died in a motorcycle accident recently and he wanted to be close to his mom and spend time with his children.

Hmmm. Thats weird. In Bisping's awesome walk around London with Ariel he said Kendall was basically living with him for training.

Another fight i'm very worried about. Both guys on bloodyelbow's vivisection picked France to win

This is potentially troubling to me as Grove is my biggest bet on this card. But then again, maybe he will use his loss as motivation. I think at the end of the day Grove CAN win this fight 9 out of 10 times if he fights smart. Unfortunately, fight IQ is not his strong suit

I don't know why you would be that confident in Grove here. I only like him to win when he has a clear grappling advantage. I don't think he has a grappling advantage here at all.

There were a few guys already on Ruth before you mentioned you wanted to bet her. Don't blame yourself ;)

Anyway, last night I switched sides to Ruth shortly after I heard Lena was training at Glendale.

Ok now officially on ruth and going to fade Grove. I don't care what airport he was seen in :).

I put a flyer on cooper as well at 4 to 1.

5d reduced is out. Ruth only +160 now. Slowly dropping

I do agree he doesn't have the clear grappling advantage, but I don't see France tapping him. Maybe I'm just hung up on Grove's potential versus what he's shown. Add to the fact that this is his last fight on his contract and I think he wants to go out there and make a statement. At the ends of the day, I think Grove earns a decision here, albeit in a close fight. I admittedly went in a bit more than I wanted to, but I got pretty bet happy with the two fight cards this weekend.

Nope but I do think he has the striking edge. I'd say by a large margin but his suspect chin does have to be considered. 9/10 is a big stretch. I think 2/3 is more realistic.

no bet yet but france will lay on him for 3 rounds is my guess =/ hoping his dec line pays well

This is what I think is going to happen. Maybe not all three, but probably two of three.

Going to have to fade the mma betting experts here on the Lena pick. Can see with holm that women with kickboxing pedigrees translate well to the octagon.

Ruth is 5-1, yes, but.. the opponents that she beat have a combined record of 5-11. When she fought a decent opponent with a good record, she got starched.

Im sticking with my lean and going Lena.
