can the line on werdum-miocic plz either drop a lot or rise a lot? either one works for me...

i have no idea on hall-silva.

cyborg all day (and won't last long, imo).

belfort rd 1 or not at all...

and how is maia this low.. how does brown possibly stop maia's grappling...

I think the maia-brown line is pretty correct, Browns wrestling is decent and he has a nasty clinch, maia should be able to grind out 2 rounds but if brown gets his clinch game going and stuffs a couple of takedowns it could get interesting

With rille. I like Maia, but not as much as others. The clinch might be Brown's strongest area. Those memories of how hard it was for Kim to drag him down. This fight could be very interesting.

Anderson just lost to Bisping. I think we HAVE to take advantage of his big name and favorable line and fade him. This coming from a huge Anderson fan lol

I pretty much agree

I'm big on Hall no SC +102. I more or less think this a gift line. I did a little write up on it in another thread. It's a lot better than his current ML, too

I understand a fade on Anderson if you could get hall +150 or better but he is close to evens on most bookies

man, idk. i still think anderson looked good vs bisping. i really did. the one thing that's glaring about him (in terms of a decline) is his reflexes and/or chin seem questionable.

then again, hall doesn't exactly unload on guys he's scared of...

Agree with EZ. Anderson's chin def seems worse to be getting dropped by Bisping, but his skills seemed fine. It just seemed like he was having too much fun and looking for a one shot kill. I have to imagine in the biggest show ever in Brazil the best version of present day Anderson will show up.

I honestly think the MLs are about right, Silva slight favorite. I don't see him finishing Hall, tho. Furthermore, since the fight is in Silva's hometown, I find it pretty hard for Hall to win a DEC unless it is pretty dominant (Hall no SC +102 *cough cough*)

Maia has the best takedowns in the WW division.

Andy's skill seemed fine against an old, slow Bisping, who was also at a 3' reach disadvantage. How's that gonna hold up against a much faster Hall who has a longer reach than Anderson?

Jae I like your idea of NO SC but Andy is just as likely to throw away rounds due to inactivity as Hall is

edit: dont forget, Anderson is 41 years old and has a rapidly declining chin. Hall, as flukey as you wanna call it, finished iron chinned Moose not too long ago

Hes up there, idk if hes THE best though. Brown has great experience for high level takedowns with fights vs guys like Kim and Hendricks. None of Maia's recent opponents had that type of stylistic experience.

The fight is not only Brazil, but in his hometown, tho. Any other place (country) I agree with you, but Hall isn't winning a closish decision in Curitiba

do you think if the Bisping/Anderson fight happened in Curitiba, the result would have been any different?

Whos better? Hes taken everyone down with ease.

Hendricks, Woodley, Rory, probably even Lombard all have strong cases as better takedown artists. Gunnar, Magny, Laflare all had never faced anyone who has even close to the clinch takedowns and ground game of Maia. We know Brown can do well for himself there.

Also think the cardio could be a potential problem. Maia is older and has slowed in the past when made to work. Brown trains in Denver and has always had a high pace style. Gonna have my eye on Brown +3.5
