Bangthebook podcast by any chance? That dude has been fade material so much recently

Nah close to the name though, it's called "beating the book with Gill Alexander." Really good podcast but even though he's a baseball guy his football "megapods" are by far the most popular and those are the best nfl betting podcasts that very few people seem to know about (highly recommend them come football season even if it's just to get another perspective). He does mlb pods every quarter of the season or so and talks with guests about different player/team trends, all that good stuff.

One of his regular mlb guests is a guy called Base Winner who I'm pretty sure is a pro baseball bettor like Gill. Sabrmetrics guy, he has his own podcast now called "Basewinner Crunch" and he does everyday pods where he shows various stats/trends etc.,and goes over which games he likes and why.

I'm not an advanced stats guy so I find it interesting and the pods are short so i think I'm gonna start listenting to them more and more. This is the first time I've listened and followed his plays b/c there's no nhl or nba on tonight and I want a little action and haven't been following baseball much since the first month or so of the season.

oops wrote way more than I anticipated. Sorry for rant lol.

Well Jeez Barry I don't know what to say. So I searched your posts for the number 1000 and some of these came up and you've said more than enough:

Go Fuck yourself :)

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA oh BT you are the fucking best, man. I remember those days with Barry and didn't know those beauties were still in his history. I guess I should have checked but now I don't need to.

Made my day man, thank you.

I probably went too hard on the guy, tbh. I know he's just here to troll and have some fun but I've had a killer fucking migraine all day and been in a terrible mood so I wasn't in the joking mood to just laugh it off like usual. This degenerate talking to me like I'm some kind of idiot and giving me lessons obviously had me a bit gotten to so I decided to take a few mins to search his old posts to find the real Barry that we all were worried might become homeless or kill himself at one point (seriously you remember).

All I did was search his name and the keyword 1000 and all that shit came up right away. All I had to do was take a few mins to copy and paste the best of them, I'm sure there's many more but that's enough from me.

LOL i actually listen to beating the book during football season. Gill is amazing

edit: bang the book isnt terrible. id only listen to him for baseball though. the guy who does basketball on that show is an idiot and only spouts off statistics. you cant cap basketball using only stats

but for baseball, he also uses sabermetrics and shows where there might be value. his analysis is great, just dont go tail all his picks haha

Yeah I love Gill. Guy is awesome.

Props for MVP in the NBA finals hasnt been posted yet, right? I'm hoping for great odds on a certain person

Following a baseball guy who I respect from podcasts and I know is a well respected bettor by other baseball sharps whose analysis I follow. Missed his early game plays but tailed him on these:

COL -1.5 (he recommended ml but it was like .30c more juiced so I just took the 1.5 instead)
COL-CIN ov11
LAD
TB

Went 3 of 4 on these. guy called the Dodgers which is impressive. First game Cubs have lost in 20something games when he's started. I was gonna bet the TB-KC over but forgot, damnit. I knew that 7.5 was low.

They have in Australia and cant imagine we were the first to open.

Steph opened at -115 here - madness...

i was actually thinking about Klay. what's he at?

lol LBJ at +230, which is higher than their series price. i think there's a very very miniscule chance that he doesn't win MVP if they pull off the upset

edit: def throwing a bit down on Klay. Curry is the best player on GS, no questions asked, but Klay is just as important and probably has an easier match up in this series. I'd maybe put a little down on Draymond too only because I think he can average triple double like numbers with K Love guarding him in addition to what he already does on defense

I liked Green initially as well. Hard to imagine Steph scoring even 24 a game goes unrewarded though. Green would need big, big numbers to get it?

he would need big numbers and bad numbers from Steph and Klay (hard to see them winning if this actually happens, though). lol i just prob talked myself out of that bet w this response haha

I just figured Green flies under the radar a bit. How many triple doubles did he get this year? Everyone only talks about Steph and to a lesser extent, Klay Even if he averaged 12/10/10 would he win over Stephs 30+ a game?
Anyway think Cavs win the series so I should be looking at maybe Irving for MVP; not Green haha. You give Cavs much chance? LBJ took them to 6 by himself last year...

No, i dont think Draymond would win MVP in the scenario you presented. If he did that and got like 3 blocks and 3 steals per game, while Curry shot like 40% on the series to get his 30 points, then yeah i'd say Draymond would have a good chance of winning. the point im trying to make: its pretty unlikely. i know guys ITT hit it big with Iggy winning MVP last season but i feel like he only won because Klay and Steph had sub-par series
