Man I freaking love Ishihara, but he isn't a guy I trust as a 2:1 fav or bigger

Hit it for .25u. Anything that has to do with striking I'm gonna put stock in what you say. You are an OG here and when it comes to striking you have forgotten more than I will ever know. Grappling I trust my own knowledge most of the time. Striking...not as much.

Thank you very much man, that's really kind words, appreciate it!

Have you seen Sage's abs? Abs/ lower body fat is mostly diet made. You can be in the gym all day and not have those abs.
I'd assume playing college ball you eat hella carbs/ sodium which causes water retention.

Yeah him too. That was 20 years ago LOL but yeah the point back then wasn't to look that shredded obviously and I did eat tons of carbs. I was still pretty ripped back then but not sure no matter my diet if I ever could have looked like that LOL.

Yeah I'm honestly kind of worried. Had a bit of confidence increase when I heard Gutierrez trains below elevation, but the line is off on this fight for sure

I Have a maxbet of 5u on Ponz already @ -150, and said I would add more if his odds would rise. Now it has, and I really don't know how much extra too add :) Crazy line IMO, compared to a nearly 75% capping. Should really go all in here.

never go all in - i agree, this is a great spot. ponz is my favorite play on the card.. so 4 or 5 units is justified, but shit happens.. don't lose your shirt

I'm not sure why some of you are betting the Steele/court over 2.5

I could see Steele getting a quick knockout or vice versa. Deff don't think it goes the distance

you ever see court fight? :) he doesn't sit down on his punches and he has doesnt really look for subs. in fact he had 7 decisions in a row before losing to ponz.. and the other two ufc fights prior to that both went pretty deep, too.

couple that with steele, who has been to the third round or late second 9 of his last 11 fights...

also, while steele has been ko'd in the first 4 times.. mcgee isn't a rd 1 KO threat.. and once he's into the fight, he has never been put away

steele also has no sub ability.. and court has only been ko'd by ponz in his career..

o2.5 is justified, very much

Increased my play on Steele to 3.5 units biggest play of the night

It seems like a lot of people think these guys are at similar level of technical ability. Purely in terms of power they are similar, but to me Gutierrez is a far less efficient, far slower, and a far more flat footed striker. Ishi has that trickster style of striking (similar to guys like Anderson Silva) that throws people off their game. It's tough to replicate in sparring.

I'm on Camozzi and Yair by sub.

May throw 1u on Ponz as well.

The Steele and Ponz talk convinced me to bet on them.

I wish I would've listened to you guys about Woodley in rd 1

I'd be very reluctant to be on Steele...Court has shown amazing cardio in every fight I've seen him in, Steele needed a towel to make weight, so he cuts A LOT of weight, and this fight is at altitude.

I wouldn't take Court @ the current moneyline, but I can see Court losing r1 and edging out r2 and winning r3 with ease.

Agree completely. If it wasnt for the cardio concern id have parlayed ishi hard. Not as good but remInds me of horiguchi.

Steele is getting hammered + Pesta, Novelli, and Cummings are getting bet

Just watch the fake weigh ins. Man, has Pesta ever looked this good?

I'm also thinking about throwing a little coin on Steele. You guys recommend his money line or should I just do KO?
