UFC 202 pbp/discussion

Was very big on Diaz, hedged with Conor by decision. (Don't get lines like not Conor ITD at Eurobooks.) Was already up on the fight and then I realised a Conor by decision 1.5u bet I had placed at +800 for the scheduled UFC 200 card never got cancelled when the bout was called off. Nice...

better cardio? i'd ''?'' that tbh, considering he gassed out in the 2nd round again. him cutting down isn't gonna help his recovery and general cardio one bit. what was more intresting to see though was that as soon as he started gassing his power dissapated like crazy

why do you think Diaz let up in round 4? seems like he allowed Conor to dictate the pace when he should have been trying to cap off what he did in the third

All those stuffed takedowns might justify the decision in my view.

He obviously went 5 rounds Ina pretty grueling fight in a really clinch heavy fight and won the 4th round.

First fight he was exhausted before getting rocked 7 minutes in.

I'd say his cardio was more improved. He obviously doesn't have the best cardio especially at featherweight.

I know he hurt your boy Aldo(I was on Aldo) but he's obviously a very good fighter and discussing it with you previously you're definitely downplaying his abilities.
He showed you this fight he apparently can throw leg kicks. Not as hard as RDA's but visibly hurt Diaz.

What you may not being processing is the adrenaline dump he was getting every time he dropped Nate and Nate was still there.
There's no real way to prepare for that even if you expect it.

When I was 17 or 18 I fought a guy and dropped him in the first few seconds. (I won previously by a KO in the first few seconds)
When he was still there it sapped my energy. I gassed in 2 minutes and ended up winning a sloppy lay n pray decision.

One of the greatest fights ever but tainted by that decision. Draw at worst for Nate. Gonna be interesting to see media scores.

Edit:holy shit almost everyone scored it for Conor. Guess they want them interviews.
I had rds 1,2 and 4 for Conor. close fight. anyone that thinks that was a clear Nate win...dont know what to say

He obviously

he caught his second wind and rode that through the 4th round. props to him for hanging in there, but it was still a pretty slow paced fight, and he still gassed out in the early frames of the fight. also stop bringing up the ''aldo'' thing, it's a very cheap and poor tactic to use. i frankly do not care, much like every other sport i do not have ''favorite'' fighters never had, never will. i do however have fighters who's style i enjoy watching more then others. but that's it.

and iv'e never said he isn't a good fighter either, if that was my opinion of him i wouldn't have backed and bet him against holloway, mendes & porier.

I have to rewatch it but i absolutely gave Nate r2. The knockdowns looked to be from his leg being messed up more than the actual punch but have to rewatch.

I honestly enjoy reading your take on most fights as you seem pretty passionate but obviously it's all through text. I was never bad as RobbieDawg IMO but I definitely matured and am able to discuss fights easier. Mostly unbiased.

I'll drop the aldo thing after this.
When reading your posts about Aldo vs McGregor and Nate vs McGregor as an outsider it sounded like Conor had no chance in hell.

Conor obviously countered Aldo early and the rest is history and I still think Aldo can beat him in the rematch. Better cardio, better kicks, and maybe even better boxing. I believe/ think Aldo just got caught being emotional. For some reason I don't see that fight happening again even though Dana says it or someone pulls out.

Diaz obviously choked his ass in the first fight but Conor did some things right. Diaz is a bad match up especially in a 5 round fight.

Like I said previously when we were discussing this fight he seems to have championship ability and mind set.
I think you kind of shook off my thoughts that McGregor would be more patient and look to still pressure but counter him similar to the Max fight even though he's orthodox and Nates a southpaw.
Didn't think he'd blow his load as quickly.

I also said that speed kills and for the most part Diaz had trouble with Conor's speed.
At range Diaz whiffed and was countered a lot.
Maybe I missed it but I've never seen Diaz have a clinch heavy gameplan before.

Ya'll motherfuckers are too sensitive.

I lost my first bet on the forum on a close decision, congrats. I also cashed another dog on this very card (which I showed slips for) and came out with a small profit.

Did you see me giving shit to anyone who lost a bet? Do you see me even mentioning the fact most posters on here have had losing nights over and over (including the ones calling me out)? I thought we were all about helping people here, which I've done by posting winners and still being in huge profit?

Best of luck to everyone besides the twats on this forum, I'm out.

You boasted about all your wins and now you're minimizing your losses.

You were name calling people and pretty much implying all of us Conor backers are retarded.
You requested oral but not in those words.

You didn't get dubs for nothing. I've seen bans for less.

Seems like you're not dealing with adversity well.

I boasted about the wins because 95% of people on here laughed at and doubted every single one of them.

I were name calling the twats on this forum.

Also, news flash, the bet on Conor at anything under +100 was still a bad bet. Betting is about value, the fight was close as fuck and there was no real reasoning I saw from ANY Conor bettor in this thread. There was simply no value in Conor at his line, so enjoy that win but good luck in the long term.

EZ didn't ban me because he knows I have knowledge that I'd say 99% of posters on this forum don't possess.

I'm not doubting your skills. You had some good picks I never talked shit about any of them.

Regardless he won. I bet Nate the first fight. Pretty sure reading through this forum made me take a flier rather than passing.

Ive been in this betting discussion when it was in the heavies and for awhile.
I'm not the most active poster, not the richest, and not the most tenured but I've been betting actively since UFC 92(a pretty big card at the time). I dealt with black Monday in the US.
I go to jackpot and las Vegas, Nevada atleast 10 times a year. Almost 8 years now.

Then stay and let's see how you do long term and stop insulting people just because they don't agree with you.
I'm willing to discuss any fight I have a strong lean on or where I care about the result.

Also I wrecked my diet today. Ate like 10,000 calories.
Mostly Pizza rolls, captain crunch, and Oreos.
My macros were like 90% carbs.

Gonna hit the gym hard tomorrow.
