UFC 202 pbp/discussion

Fucking hell nice one mate
Thanks. It's been a good year. But I lose my shirt also at times. None of us are perfect.

And of course the one time I make my Vegas bets early in the week. My big play(Cerrone) immediately drops from -160 to -120 the day I bet it.

Nice to see you take the Superbook down! Really pissed me off when I was there for 196 that they don't do round props and don't let you parlay over/unders. Supposed to be the gambling capital of the world!

Yea. They used to have main event props for big events. And the over/unders non parlay rule is frustrating as all hell

The golden age of mma betting in Vegas was when the Venetian would release lines before the offshore books. 1 Dude releasing MMA lines before any book.

I'm up about 12 units on the night. Thanks to everyone in the community for helping. I needed it after a few rough events, including a way too strong homer bet on Lawler.

A lot of people are giving Robbie a hard time but I will say; while his delivery may not make everyone happy he did confirm my suspicions on Casey which ended up being my largest bet of the night. I have to give him props for that one.

Also, for the many who pointed out Larkin early, that was second largest best and it paid dividends.

For those who hated on Cerrone, well, he's proven he's still a beast.

I was on Diaz and had he won I would have really crushed it but I'm not mad at all. That was a great fight.

I had my neighbor over for the entire fight card so I stayed away from the computer. Lol - glad I did. The main thing I said during the main event in round 4 is that the Diaz's never seem to know where they are on the scorecards or show a sense of urgency. That's how it was with Nick in the Condit fight and Nate in this one.

I managed to live bet my way into a guaranteed loss no matter who won the Conor Diaz fight. I thought I might catch a break when the 47-47 scorecard was read. Oh well. Great fight and great show overall. Congrats to the winners.

it just hit me now, but it's fucking crazy how much the way nate's speaks reminds me of mitch hedberg.. (may he rest in peace)

just listen to the post fight thing, that's hedberg all day. pauses and everything.

Congrats SBJJ....busto or robusto. I like your style

Let's recap last nights results:
Barry's UFC 202 Free Picks

Conor Mcregor -110 (Triple Unit Bet)
Teixeria Glover by KO, TKO or DQ +800 (Flier Bet)
Rick Story ML +140
Chris Avila ML -106
Cortney Casey ML +120

While 2-3 record doesn't particularly look good at first glance, I still came out ahead for an acceptable 1.8 U profit. When I say I'm going to make profit on the night I damn well mean it! I can't remember the last time I was down betting on a UFC event. Just goes to show my incredible capping prowess and selectively betting on +eV fights.

Hit big on the Larkin fight (Larkin ML, R1, NSC) - hit a Vettori R1 + Colby ITD + AJ R1 parlay for 1900 - and although I was big on Nate in the main event, it was all spread out between ML, not Conor ITD, and Nate NSC so I actually didn't even get burned there. I lost the ML, won the not ITD, and pushed the NSC. Conor split/maj DEC hit pretty big for me, too. So sad 5d was messing up for me and couldn't get in Conor +800 after R3 as a smallish bet. And omg, I would have hit huge if the fight was a draw... I was just happy it wasn't a UD for Conor

I've been on fire since last month after my typical rough June. I'm hoping I can keep this fire lit for the next 10 or so weeks.

I hope you guys all did good!

Grats to the winners, cashed out of my nate play twice and put an good amount on conner decision am up £500+ for the night, hope no one went truly nate yolo since that fight was a close one.

A UFC event each weekend for the next 8 continuous weeks, so no time to relax !

Interesting night. We had a 10% lost overall yesterday night. But we are confident for the next event.

Congrats @ SBJJ, must have some balls of steel to hit them heavies so big but always a delight to see someone take money from any bookie !

Hedberg was great. Not really a fan of clean comics but he was a legend.

hey sbjj how long did it take you before you made enough cash to wager those kind of stakes on single bets? congrats by the way.
