I'm not saying that he's out of shape im only talking about him cutting weight or not. Many pro athletes eat junk food and are in phenomenal shape.

JB. Mago or Dariush....enlighten me. im leaning mago

Couldn't resist the line movement towards Magomedov at evens, switched from my Dariush bet, now effectively got Magomedov at nice + money, plus Magomedov by decision at +200.

Actually posted that in the wrong thread, but yeah, I'm still finishing and typing them up, will do in the next couple of hours.

Most of my picks should be taken with a grain of salt for this show since I only had time to watch little footage, but i'm on Beneil dec at +350 and the over. With where the prices are now, seems like smartest move would be livebet or the over.

Gamblou back with another expert pick
Silva de Andrade -115 vs. Briones +105

The first thing we noticed is that Silva de Andrade weighed in relatively early and came in two pounds under the limit. Now the new weigh-in format must be taken into account here but fighters that weigh-in 1 lb. or more UNDER weight at weigh-ins go on to win 43% of the time*. On top of weighing light da Silva has been away from the cage for about a year and a half and he travels to Mexico City to fight in high altitude. While well-rounded and athletic, da Silva can be a bit wide/wild when standing. Briones, his opponent is what we consider to be a typical Mexican styled fighter. On the surface he may appear to be a bit plodding and deliberate which to an extent is true but he is also quite skilled, especially utilizing his boxing. Briones sports a granite chin, tremendous toughness, determination and grit but his most important feature tonight will be his cardio for this guy can fight all night. He’ll have the home crowd on his side and we feel as the fight evolves those cardio advantages will be an advantage for him. Briones also went a full three rounds with Garbrandt a few fights ago so with a top effort (and we do expect that) Briones looks to be one mangy Mexican mutt.

Briones +145

I wouldn't say Briones has a granite chin at all, I've seen him dropped and rocked badly. He has good recovery though.

Briones is hard to get a read on for me. I was not impressed on TUF and thought he wouldn't last long in the UFC, than he looks better vs Cody, but it was still so one sided so idk lol. Still no bet on that fight, but heavily leaning the over

Also got KO'd by an up kick on TUF but Gamblou probably doesn't even know that

But Gamblou said he's a mangy Mexican mutt so you gotta bet him

You can get Silva for -115, join me JB

Enrique is not on his level. He's gonna get stuck on the backfoot and lose rounds if he doesn't get dropped and finished

Gamblou needs to get more racist than that if I'm going to take him seriously

I do lean Andrade, if anyone. And the over is up to -167, smh. So tough. But fuck it, for companionship sake I will join you. Also small on his KO line +525

Niiice. I'm gonna take a small stab at that line too, I can only get +465 though

Bet is still up btw , Unibet didnt void it

But now that Charlie missed weight I have no confidence whatsoever in him lasting 3 rounds, even tho Lamas is mostly a grinder

I did however takr a risk and put 2u down on Lamas itd @ +275 as a hedge/freeroll but it definitely risky

Those on Andrade, are you not worried about him gassing? Known for his cardio issues, never fought at elevation, huge frame, and came in under weight

Definitely worried. Not sure where Briones has been training, but if in Mexico than I probably made the wrong move here lol. On the positive side, he exerts a lot of energy, which could lead to him becoming flat footed when he tries and when that happens I think hes in trouble.

It definitely looks like a great card for lb but I've been up since 5am ffs I'm not going to make it
Don't be a minge ;) was up at 5.30am done 4 races and got back at 8pm! Can't wait till UFC starts lol

LOL at the movement on Montano, he was +400 vs Randy Brown and now he's like +100 vs Griffin who is better than Randy Brown. Griffin ain't no bum, he may of got mauled in a short notice fight against one of the best wrestlers on the division but his work outside the UFC is pretty impressive. He's beaten guys much better than Montano at least.

Elevation may be a factor though, Montano trains in Mexico City but gassed pretty bad in his last fight. IIRC Griffin said he was sleeping at 8000ft in a hyperbaric chamber, he also said he was training at elevation 3 times a week. Doesn't seem like the greatest preperation but it's better than nothing. This is a step up in competition for Montano.

how the heck is griffin 'better than randy brown'

Totally disagree on this. Held is a raw prospect when it comes to stand up. He is getting too much hype. IMO he is just another middle of the pack fighter that Sanchez has a decent chance of beating.

we'll see i guess. middle of the pack fighter = just a disagreement, he's a nightmare for a lot of guys at 155. he's gonna be around a while.
