UFN 103 - pbp/discussion

That's the difference between a sharp and the squares. The ability to entertain multiple thoughts at once, and make adjustments on changing data/prices/etc.

Glad to help. Keep on showing these dudes how it's done.

Dude. I had a feeling it was u from your original Saenz Mendes BJJ post. I'm like shit, this is Bradlio F'n Cooper

Oh next time I have 2k to give you I suppose hehe. Anytime brother, maybe we should invite rebel Lion he lives in LA too, and owes me a blunt :p

Are you still at one location? Glad to hear they are all mimicking you. You are a true innovator.

I actually think this probably happened.

I could only imagine if I had thousands on Held. I'd be in my car driving to the judges residence as we speak

Someone posted an interview in the pre fight discussion where Joe said he wanted Held to change his shorts colour because he was worried about the blue corner/red shorts confusion. Joe changed his from blue to black. He said he thinks the judges were mixed up in his last fight due to shorts colour.

But I don't think that's actually what happened in this case because the 2/3 judges did score round 1 for Lauzon, which was his best round.

It would be hilarious to see a fighter exploit this.

1. Confuse judges with your shorts
2. Consistently have bad performances
3. Profit

After like a 5 fight win streak people start to catch on...

Held would propably have won 30-27 on all scorecards under the old rules

Held controlled most of round 2 and lauzon goes for an armbar that held immediately defends by stacking and keeping his hand on his biceps, I dont think that held was even close to tapping at any point, you could tell his jitz was better then lauzons

I rewatched Held/Lauzon again. There is no discussion here. Held won, judges are stupid. Everybody knows it, even Lauzon disagreed.

Most importantly Held never had Lauzon in a position where he was anywhere near finishing him.

Held took his back in R2, that's a dangerous position but Lauzon did well defending. Lauzon was outgrappled all fight. I can't understand how 2 judges give him R2.

As I said I am not making an argument for Lauzon winning. I am simply trying to understand what those judges were thinking.

We need to be able to get into these judges' heads and understand what they are thinking if we plan to make any $.

I'd rather not think about what they have in their heads haha.
Jeff Mullen and Marcos Rosales, bastards

Edit: lol, Mullen was 8 years without judging any fight between 2008-16...

Held/Lauzon was obviously a robbery, but did anyone feel the same about McGee/Saunders? I thought McGee comfortably won that going into the decision.

I ended up making drive to Vegas to place some quick parlays.

I probably shouldn't have won this I got lucky cuz Lauzon should've lost but it's about time I get a bad decision my way lol but yeah Held did his thing. Lauzon looked old and gassed too fast. That damage over the years definitely caught up to him and puts him into a veterans category.

I skipped all the heavy set guys and focused on hitting overs on the smaller weight fighters.

Anyways time to cash this out and bark at some hoes :p

I bet Saunders and I was shocked when they announced him as the winner.

Definitely man I was on all the same guys that most of the thread was on!
A couple of those lucky ones and you can end up with a lotto type night. Invicta screwed me over and I came into this event pissed lol. Thanks again to everybody that posts! You guys convinced me to put some on Pettis when I was very against it at first. Also the confidence we all had in Joachim was very assuring. On to the next one.
