So you're saying you think the +1.5 sets has better chances to hit in 5 setters than +3 or 4 games? Wouldn't you think the games would give you a higher chance since you could still lose 3-1 and cover, however unlikely?

I like the odds at 7-1 to win especially based on the odds that they have for projected matchups. Doesn't make sense to me to be quite honest.

I did 1u total so far. About .5u on each.

+205 against Nadal to win 1u
+700 to win AO to win 3.5u

Hate that the matches are on at 330! Good luck to us!

Tell me about it... I just finished watching fed vs wawr.. yea, 12 hours after it aired

I've added even more to Dimitrov. Like 6 or 7 units altogether between ml, set spread (yea I like set better here), and not nadal Aussie, and dimi Aussie

This could be painful but im going for it. I believe in dimi right now

Fuck it I'm in for Dimitrov too. Put a couple on his ml yesterday at +200 and a couple more on the +1.5 sets a few mins ago. No work tomorrow so might pull an all nighter for this one and sleep late.

Gl to us.. I'll be radio silent on this one.. will watch when I get home tomorrow

Tailing. Good luck. Who do you think is an easier match up for Fed

Good luck guys. Hopefully I wake up to a win for once so i can start my day in a good mood.

Fed +110 against Nadal and -168 against Dimitrov. Think Fed would struggle with Dimitrovs current form on a hard court more personally.

Damn that's a hell of a b/d @PuertoRican. Well done my friend.
Thanks.

Too bad some jerk closed my original thread. Multiple people are interested in it this year just like they were last year, yet it got no respect by 1 person behind the scenes.

I'm gonna watch the preliminary event right now and get some updates posted by tomorrow (Friday).

Nadal v Dimitrov
Tailed you EZ. Going into the fifth set, Dimi +1.5 sets covers. Yush! Have $65 on that and $35 on ML.

Or you can talk about it here like everyone else. We've talked about the Aussie open for 100+ posts, we don't need our own thread.

Woke up early to watch this..Man it was worth it. Came down to break point execution. Dimi had more chances. Heartbreaker. Gigantic swing in that fifth. Obviously I was worried about the chances in the 5th set, or would've done all on moneyline.. but maaaaan. So close. Would've put me well up on the tourney if dimi won the fifth... Instead, I'm actually down a couple still. Even with two monster days of seppi ML & the big over RR.

Sorry he didn't come thru. No regrets.

The 1st point of the 1st tiebreak was all the bad luck he needed to just lose a match that was very, very even for the most part. Didn't see any of the 5th set yet.

Fade, fade, fade.

On the guy that ends in er to win $44.88 (+112).

Haven't posted a single winner for the AO so let's see how this strategy works. I'm the books best friend right now.

This thread is for "Non-MMA Sports Betting." Miss Universe is not MMA related, nor is it a sport, which is why I created a new thread for it. Also, I expect to have a lot of text/content for Miss Universe and, when people have questions and concerns, they'll be able to easily ask whatever they want and read previously answered questions.

In this betting forum, we have had separate threads for:

• Kentucky Derby
• Boxing
• Politics
• Glory Kickboxing (multiple)
• Rio Olympics
• NFL Super Bowl 2016
• and Tennis Australian Open 2016

What makes Miss Universe any less important than politics? Both aren't sports, yet only the latter is allowed to have its own thread, according to you.

If you look at those threads listed above, there's a theme: they're big events that only happen one time per year, and a lot of people want to talk about them in a separate thread so they don't have to scroll through 30+ pages of content that relate to all other events found in the Non-MMA Sports Betting thread.

Moreover, if it was just a few guys randomly posting about blindly betting on a few chicks in the Miss Universe pageant because they're hot, that would be one thing. However, many hours are put into researching 80+ contestants' pictures, videos, preliminary pageant videos, and betting line movement to find the best girls with the greatest chance of getting into the Top 12, Top 8, Top 5, and Top 3. What's more, with Miss Universe, there's money line bets, prop bets, futures, and various live betting options that several people in this betting forum took advantage of and profited off of last year after I posted content for that event, which is why I put way more time into researching this year than I did last year.

Furthermore, I believe that monitoring this forum and keeping scum out of it is your job; posting helpful information and creating content so we can all profit as a whole is our job.

boxing and kickboxing are combat sports that have regular interest from the mma / mma betting community.

i resisted the political discussions but there was an outcry with enough people who wanted it, so i thought it was alright.

you also should maybe try asking nicely and/or PM me about it rather than continue to be contradictory with 90% of what you post...

"try asking nicely" ...so I can make a thread?

That's pretty funny.

Royal Rumble

My bets AORN

to win: Goldberg 7/1
shawn Michaels 100/1
Sting 300/1

65th Miss Universe Preliminary Competition

Girls I like most from this event (my final picks will be posted on Saturday, 1 day before the event):

· Angola (solid in all-3 rounds, but not amazing; dark skin could play against her)

· Aruba (Looked good in the bikini and evening gown portions)

· Brazil (Looked good in the dress and bikini portions, but was basic in the evening gown portion. First black woman to represent Brazil in 30 years)

· Cayman Islands

· Costa Rica (Top 12. Looked good in the dress, bikini, and evening gown portions)

· Dominican Republic (Fringe Top 12. Looked average in the dress portion, but looked better during the bikini portion, and looked good in the evening gown portion and used some type of fabric that covered the base of her neck which made her look more normal. I still think her height and neck length will hold her back in the end.)

· Georgia (solid in all-3 rounds)

· Haiti (Top 12. Looked good in the dress, bikini, and evening gown portions)

· Indonesia (Top 12. Looked good in the dress, bikini, and evening gown portions)

· Jamaica (Looked good in the dress, bikini, and evening gown portions, but looked uncomfortable walking in the evening gown, possibly cuz she’s a self-admitted former tomboy)

· Kosovo (she looked solid in all-3 stages, but she needs to improve her bubbly-ness when the camera turns her way)

· Mexico (Top 3. Looked good in the dress, bikini, and evening gown portions)

· Myanmar (Top 12. Looked good in the dress, bikini, and evening gown portions)

· Netherlands (Looked good in the dress, bikini, and evening gown portions.)

· Nicaragua (Top 5. Looked good in the dress, bikini, and evening gown portions)

· Nigeria (Possibly Top 12, but I don’t think this competition is ready for a strong black woman like herself who leans toward the darker side of black women but not as dark as other black contestants)

· Panama (Top 12. Looked good in the dress, bikini, and evening gown portions)

· Philippines (Top 12. biggest pop from the crowd. looked good in all-3 portions)

· Poland (looked good in all-3 portions, but lacks the “it” factor)

· Puerto Rico (looked good in all-3 portions, but her fake teeth will hold her back. Her teeth remind me of Healy, Matt Dillon’s character from “There’s Something About Mary”)

· Thailand (Top 12. Looked good in the dress, bikini, and evening gown portions)

· Venezuela (Top 3. Looked good in the dress, bikini, and evening gown portions. The crowd – dominated by various Asians – loves her a lot.)

My two cents: I never look at this Non-MMA Sports Betting Discussion thread because I don't care about any sports other than combat sports. I actually appreciated PR's Miss Universe thread in the main forum because I noticed it and was kind of looking forward to betting that as a goof again like last year. I only came to look for the posts here once I saw the thread disappeared. If the Miss Universe posts were started here I never would have seen it.
