Non-MMA Sports Betting Discussion - January, 2017

Dimitrov looked pretty damned good, ended up a tiny bit since I was in for 2u on ml and set spread both at dog money. I would bet Dimi in a heartbeat at 2-1 again, he had the value, Nadal just got the pts he needed a bit more consistently. Think the Tennis Gods put it in Feds and Rafa's fortunes to let them meet once more in a major final just like the old days. I don't follow tennis hardcore or anything but even with Fed's injury layoff I'm kind of a bit more surprised with how well Rafa's playing.

Before the injury Fed was still making deep runs to semis and finals, Rafa seemed to be a shell of himself recently but maybe I'm wrong. The guy has played freakishly well this tourney.

I got a semi strong lean in an NBA game today. PM me for the lean if interested. Gonna be a 2u play

couple units on federer +119 for me. if he wins, i break even on the tourney. if he loses, yea, down a few units.

not really tail-worthy, i just think it's damn-near a coinflip. i'm admittedly biased, too. and yea, you better believe i'm aware of their h2h history.

just sharing the play. not saying it's tail-worthy.

FYI 5Dimes has Randy Orton as a fucking -275 favorite to win the Royal Rumble.

No idea what happened to cause that but "Field wins the Rumble" AKA Not Randy Orton is +175 right now and seems like a damn gift IMO since Orton winning doesn't really make a ton of sense.

He's -300 on my book. I was thinking of spreading some money on Balor, Samoa Joe, The Undertaker and Strowman was huge dogs.

Not a bad idea, surely the Rumble should be a good opportunity to push a new guy like Joe, Balor or Strowman. Orton/Taker would be big draws at Wrestlemania without winning the rumble imo. But hey, they've booked the rumble poorly last 2/3 times so who knows what Vince is up to.

This may be crazy thinking but you have to figure that they are going to push a universal title fight. That eliminates the Smackdown roster because you know they can book anyone against Cena (assuming he wins) and it's going to draw people.

They need to sell someone as a big opponent for the universal title. A hype train of Balor, Strowman (which has already started, although they likely start a feud with Big Show) or Joe makes sense. Undertaker makes sense if they go Undertaker versus Cena for the WWE title.

Who knows what will happen but Orton seems an odd choice to me as he's set up for a Wyatt feud.

Thanks Fed

A bunch of people got burned playing these big line moves in WWE last year. Orton is now -1800 LOL. You can get the field at +900. So at +175 it was "a gift", what about now at +900? Or likely there's a leak that Orton is in line to win it.

Just finished watching Fed-Raf. FUCKING CHILLS. Rafa played one hell of a match too

Fed is GOAT, though

Finally got one!

I didn't think there was any chance after Nadal got the early break in the 5th. Unreal.

Tennis is unlike any other sport where not only are you alone but you can't necessarily lose or win in an instance like wrestling, boxing, mma, etc. Tremendous athletes I love it.

i've got another NBA lean but ill prob only post it if the Cavs cover

My final Top 6 picks for Miss Universe 2016

T6: Indonesia
T6: Mexico
T6: Nicaragua
T6: Philippines
T6: Thailand
T6: Venezuela

NOTE: The Miss Universe Organization has decided a day before the coronation to name top 13 finalists instead of 12 as originally announced, as 213 million votes were cast by fans worldwide. The 13th spot will be voted on by fans around the world, and they'll act as a 7th judge.

The top 6 will each be asked a different question sourced from an online agency based in the US, while there will only be one question for the top 3, Shugart said.

Regarding my picks, I had a tough time finalizing my Top 6 women. While I wanted to pick Myanmar because she is well-rounded and had the BEST national costume (posted below in the spoiler), I chose to go with Thailand due to her height, being well-rounded, and the pop she got from the crowd during both the preliminary competition and the national costume competition.

Miss Universe starts today (Sunday) at 7pm PST / 7pm EST (tape delay on the West Coast)

smashing U11.5 for nhl allstar final round, -115, 3u (starts pretty soon)
