note: this card is on a sunday (for some reason)

Initial leans: Browne, Hendricks, McMann, Ponzinibbio, Santos

Elias Theodorou decision, Derek Lewis, and McMann/Carmouch over 2.5 jump out to me.

Unibet has some lines for this event:

Lewis +100
Browne -133

McMann -250
Liz +180

Hendricks -175
Lombard +130

looking at one fighter here that i'm hoping will only be a slight fav.

Waiting for more information on who Browne is training with now. I think it's his fight for the taking and leaving Edmund only improves his chances.

He'd better look completely different than he did his last time out vs Werdum. Obviously I realize BB is not Werdum, but I'm more talking about how Browne looked. Absolutely and completely gunshy, and honestly like he didn't want to be in there. He just didn't seem to even care.

Yeah. In all my years I haven't seen a fighter degress skillwise as much in his physical prime as with Browne. Maybe mid-2000's Belfort.

Dont forget the dude broke his finger in that fight blocking a kick

100% fair point for sure. That definitely could have been part of it.

Man IDK if his skills have really regressed. He was never the most skilled guy. I mean, he wasn't the LEAST skilled guy either, but his success has always really been about being a big, fairly athletic guy who was just nastier and more durable than the guys he was fighting.

If he's lost that "nasty" edge, he's finished.

People need to remember this is a 5 round fight, I could easily see travis stay at range and jab BB until he collapses from exhaustion

Browne looked good against Mitrione 3 fights ago, got destroyed by Cain in his next fight, then had to fight Werdum one handed after the compound fracture in the 1st. I don't think those last 2 losses should have much weight when capping this fight.

I've always thought Lewis was overrated, if his last fight was 3 rounds he would've lost 30-27. Browne is rather poor defensively but BB is so slow. I hope Browne decision is above +500 as I don't see him knocking BB out

Edit: Trucido just pointed out that it's a 5 rounder, gotta rethink this.

Another sunday card, what the fuck? UFC wants me to have 0 vacation days left for summer I guess...

Massive improvement from Browne coming in this fight....
