No ones talking about how bad Lewis looked last fight, btw..

Quite frankly, the guy is only good at ground-and-pound

Browne all day, even if he is regressing regarding athletic abilities, BB looked horrible last fight and Browne only losses the last years comes from killers like Cain and Werdum. He is smart enough to not get underneath BB and as long as he does he should win a dec.

Unibet has his ML at 1.75, but I want it a bit higher to play him straight.

I'm glad more people are picking Browne now, was a little worried when I seen people's initial leans were BB, thought I was going crazy hahah. I'm a fan of BB but he is basic imo, his cardio sucks, he's pretty slow, and all he has is weight and power.

As Sadistics mentioned, Browne looked pretty good vs Mitrione before the eye poke from what I can remember, the way I see it is that Matt is a much faster and in general better striker than BB by a long shot, don't get me wrong, BB could easily knock Browne out in the first, but if the odds on Browne are around -110, I see the value in him

Lewis did look bad vs Shamil but its that type of guy who can stick and move that will have the most success vs Lewis. I dont think Browne is as good in that department so im gonna continue fading Browne here.

Looks like im the only one with you there. I'd like a parlay price on fight ends itd more than anything, but I can't touch Browne. Moving gyms, his gf getting crushed, looking like shit lately. I can easily see BB swarm him and kill him

Although it'll be a fairly low-confidence play, I think I'll be on Brown.

Cant browne stick and move? Bit rusty on how he fights.
He seemed to lost his footwork after he's ridiculous run in '13. but maybe this could be contributed to the type of calibre his opponents are. He's been fighting HW GOAT after GOAT in the past 2 fights Im kinda rusty aswell so imma need to watch tape.

the issue here is lewis just isn't a quitter. when i said "all lewis has is GnP" i'm not really being fair. he's also very durable and his best asset is that he keeps trying to get up. he doesn't quit. it only takes one time for him on top to possibly finish browne.. he can be down 2 rounds to pesta but as soon as he gets on top, here come the Donkey Kong punches.. likewise down 3-0 to abdurakhimov...

i'm leaning towards browne prefight, lewis live, maybe.

That's a really good point. It really showed in the Roy Nelson fight too where he kept trying to get the job done until the last bell. Keeping an eye on BB's live-bet line is probably a good call.

So do you think Browne DEC is more likely than Browne ITD?

hard to say.. browne has shown glimpses of good finishing ability in the past.. and it is 5 rounds.. idk.

i might consider lewis NSC tho, yes

Confidence in Hapa: gone.

i just listened to the interview with browne and okamoto. He said about edmond "i think edmond has a good mindset and tactics for mma and he thinks he himself was the limiting factor".

He also said that his previous coaches never taught him how to fight technically and that he had to learn it mostly from his teammates and that he basically depended on his athletic ability. The moment he went to edmond he had the opposite problem where he relied too much on his skill and not enough on his athletic ability.

Btw listening to browne is a chore. The guy does not seem to have all that much going on up there. It's baffling to see how his perspective is basically the opposite to the people that view it from the outside looking in.

I was leaning browne initially but i'm definitely going the other way now especially considering the dog odds on lewis.

Totally agreed. I'm going heavy on Black Beast now. Browne just won't learn from his mistakes.

Yeah Browne still training with Edmund is crazy and he doesn't sound all too confident from the cliffs posted by Crown. Thinking BB probably lands one of those concrete blocks he calls fists on Browne's dome at some point. Also, it would almost be a guarantee that if BB ends up on top Browne will get pummeled. Five rounds just seems too long to avoid all that power if he fights tenative and keeps getting backed up by a swarming gorilla.
