But those guys have power too and because they are so much better technically they will land first and most likely put him away.

Overeem can flake at times so maybe BB has a shot there. But the other guys put him away early IMO.

Overeem has devastating body kicks....

Its frustrating cuz i still think Lombard, Cezar, and Vieira were the right side.

On the wrong side of 3 decisions. Jeez

Made bank on randa tho.

2u Browne/BB O1.5 @ EVS - Win
2u Mutante @ -110 - Loss
2u Mutante + Browne/BB o1.5 @ +250 - Loss
1u Hendricks@ +110, - Win
1U Marshman/Santos O1.5 @ +200 - Loss
0.1u Hendricks Dec + Marshman KO + Markos + Ferreira + Zahabi @ + 10000 - Loss

LB
1u Meerschart via Submission @ +200 - Win

Well I fell asleep after Meerschart fight and as a result didnt LB anywhere near as much as I wanted to, would have loaded up on Hendricks after Marshman early stoppage etc.

1u up in total- Was always a dodgy card to bet, but def missed LB value. annoyed, but 8u up from Bellator means 9u for weekend.

BR up about 26% for the year so far, good start, the burn will come soon for sure.

I hope that when BB faces an actual decent heavyweight, we get decent odds so that I can bet against him, sorry, he won, but he sucks so bad, crazy he's gotten this far imo

Toughness and big power goes a long way at HW.

Also,

It seems hometown/country bias was really a factor in this event. Pretty miffed about the 01.5 in the marshman fight.

Esparza was a bad decision and maybe Zahabi. But Zahabi and Elias getting 30-27 was very suspect.

True and I'd still favor him over BB for sure. I'm just saying Overeem has a way of looking like he's about to finish someone and then getting put away. Bigfoot, Browne, Stipe. There's a pattern. And Lewis has the comeback win down to an artform. The combo of those two things would make me nervous laying juice on Overeem against him.

Hunt, JDS, Stipe, Cain I think all wreck him honestly. Ngannou...hmmm.

Nothing more satisfying than seeing Browne lose. He's honestly one of the most unskilled guys in the division while still having a decent record. He's one redeeming quality is killer instinct, yet he was afraid to use it against a guy like Lewis. Loved the line on Lewis at +100.

Glad you cashed on that fight, man

Yeah, it was literally a last-second decision. Just something about Johnny's demeanor that told me to make that bet. I probably wouldn't have made I play at all but I was having a bad morning. I got crushed on some weird plays plays including the Santos over 1.5 being the largest I had + had Carla in a three team parlay. That was a really stupid and I knew as soon as I made it. Oh well, I hedged slightly with random decision but didn't cover the loss. With everything that happened I still did fine losing slightly when it could've been an epic disaster of a night. Thanks to Sarah McMann hitting that submission and then my play on Johny a few other small parlays I didn't die, but that quick Santos stoppage stung bad! If that had been Mario Yamasaki we cash that....

. Let me know what my new signature is LOL

Thought it was interesting that we didn't see any 10-8 rounds from the new rules, although partially maybe because there weren't that many rounds won convincingly. But for example when Ponz knocked-down Taleb hard in a round he was already winning, I thought that might be a 10-8 on the new rules.

Canadian judges propably had no clue how to score with these new rules even though they officially changed them

Lol at that round being a 10-8. It was a definitive 10-9. Ponz didnt come close to finishing.

Yeah, it was a definitive 10-9 under the old rules. Nothing is definitive yet under the new rules, that's the whole point.

I can't believe Browne didn't finish BB when he had him hurt so many times. I guess it's just HW stuff.

I heard BB called out Hunt afterwards and there is no fight I wanna see as bad as that one.

it pains me to say this as a Canadian but I don't think those fuckin judges knew what day it was....

Sicilia's fight had the strongest arguments for 10-8 IMO. He really had no offense throughout.

So I just caught of with the replay of this event and...
FUCK these canadian judges. I've said it before and i'll say it again, they are the most biased judges, even worse than in brazil.
Also, fuck that ref for screwing us on the O1.5 in the Santos fight.
