According to rumor Haye has injured his Achilles tendon and the bout with Bellew is in jeopardy. He's missing open workout and flew to Germany to see a specialist. There will be a *lot* of pressure for him not to pull out of this bout from the ego side with all the trash talk and the promotion and money side. This could actually be good new for us Bellew backers hoping for an upset if this is true and the fight goes on.

Just hit 0.7u on Bellew +510 on Marathonbet. Hopefully they will continue with the fight now.

Haye was doing the open workouts less than an hour ago and looked pretty good, no proof of any validity to the Achilles "news".

I saw it posted online as if it was breaking news. Guess one has to be skeptical now.

My understanding is injury has been there for several weeks, he was definitely visiting Dr yesterday/today (on his insta)

He's had underlying shoulder issues which he's still being seen about and no doubt has plenty of niggling injuries but there's no substance to any of the claims the fight is in jeopardy.

Was hoping everyone smashed Bellew after the injury news. Its obviously BS.

Apologies, I didn't mean fight was in jeopardy, however achilles injury could easily be the case.

Yeah, I don't think it's even 10% as serious as it's being made out on some news outlets, very much more than likely just being overplayed to hype the fight. Haye should put him away within 6.

On that note, between 4-6 has great value for Haye.

Also hitting Bonallie +1200 for 0.5u in this weekend. Both him and Glover are unproven prospects, will see how it goes.

I don't know anything about Jake Bonallie, other than BoxRec says he's a debuting fighter fighting a 2-0 newbie. But I'm in for a small stab at big odds, why not?

Jake Bonallie (+1250) vs Craig Glover ~$30.53 for ~$381.56

Hitting Yamanaka rounds 7-9 vs Carlos Carlson @ 4.00

The denial itself could be disinformation of course. I'm not putting much stock into it affecting the outcome of the fight either way at this point.

To be fair, even with a damaged Achilles I'd still back Haye to beat Bellew any day of the week.

fuck it, .25u Bellew rds1-4 +2008, .25u Bellew rds1-6 +1349.

Yeah Tony probably gets the shit kicked out of him, but if he comes out crazy like he's been doing recently, albeit against much lower level comp, maybe he can catch Haye cold in the early going. He's probably gonna get destroyed but you never know, couldn't pass up the odds.

BT, I'm happy to see you're on Team Bellew. Hope he gets it done early!
