Parker did what he had to, i think a little harsh on him tbh. He gets too happy with the right, needs to mix it up but hes still young. Can get better

That said he isnt anywhere near AJ and that was a rumoured fight. Doubt it happens now, Parker took a big step back in his career tonight.

Does anyone here use Pinnacle as their book? I would ask in the more popular threads but there's too much #elite discussion to get an answer

I dont think he did enough not nearly. He had no urgency whatsoever and i question his power in light of his ko ratio against a load of hapless opponents. His best burst was the last 10 secs of r12. Tbf tho they had sparred 100 rounds together so i guess theres that to consider.

Two upsets on the Golden Boy card on ESPN2 tonight. Jesus M Rojas stopped Abraham Lopez as a +165 dog while +1400 journeyman Robinson Castellanos forces former world champion Yuriorkis Gamboa to quit on the stool after round 7 subsequent to knocking him down multiple times. Just in time for my under to cash. Hope the dogs keep barking this weekend!

I was on Rojas with you but at +115. Nice hit Jimm.

99% of my bets are on Pinnacle, because it's the only bookie (along with asian books, which I avoid for tax reasons) that Im not limited on. Best bookie in the world by far, but obviously you should take advantage of soft bookies (bet365, Unibet(s) etc) as long as you can.

I know that most expect Canelo to win easily tonight, but if any of you guys use Bookmaker, there are some sick value lines with Chavez split & majority decision props at a whopping +6600 and +10000 respectively. This, compared to +1175 and +2800 for the same props at 5D. As a gambler, I had to throw some on these lines.

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. wins by split decision (+6600) $40.00 for $2640.00
Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. wins by majority decision (+10000) $40.00 for $4000.00
Saul Alvarez wins by unanimous decision (+225) $50.00 for $112.50
Julio Cesar Chavez Jr./Saul Alvarez fight ends in technical decision (+3650) $15.00 for $547.50

Have 1.6u on Chavez @ 7
0.1u Chavez Split dec @ 67
0.1 Chavez Majority dec @ 101

BM Chavez split +6600
5d NOT Chavez split -2525

That's probably the best split for free $ I've seen for someone using both sites, although to make any real $ you'd have to have giant BR and crazy high limits. Still...

Also on both of these for the same stake. Don't see it happening but feel that the line is off. If he manages to win a decision it won't be UD and I can't see him stopping Alvarez, so a tiny amount on these two (in my eyes his most likely chances) seems fair enough to me. Much better than just taking decision at 9.0 or him to win at 6.0.

Realistically it'll probably be either Canrlo decision or Canelo r9-12, but at those odds I'm more than happy to take a small punt given the size discrepancy.

I mention this every time there's an HBO PPV, but for those that have DirecTV, the Audience channel 101 will be broadcasting the Canelo/Chavez Jr. preliminary fights before the PPV starting at 7 PM EDT. I believe they also live stream these somewhere else like RingTVLive.com.

CANELO vs. CHAVEZ JR. PRELIM CARD

Ryan Garcia (8-0; 7 KO) vs. Tyrone Luckey (8-6-3; 6 KO)
Lightweight, 6 rounds

Marlon Esparza (1-0; 0 KO) vs. Samantha Salazar (2-3-1; 0 KO)
Flyweight, 4 rounds

Raul Curiel (Pro Debut) vs. Jesus Sanchez (1-1-2; 0 KO)
Super Welterweight, 4 rounds

Just giving my boy Dwyer some shine. Dont agree with him about JCCs weighin appearance though.

This is a decent scrap between the two lesbos on the prelim card.

Reminds me how bad boxing is in WMMA.

Trying to take a break but these lines are sik. 50 on both split and majority decision props.

is taylor worth a shot tonight?

Ummm. Well, Lucas Matthysse, is a bit long in the tooth at 34 years old and will have a bit of ring rust on him. That said he does have very heavy hands and Taylor has been knocked down and wobbled several times. But to your point, on value alone, I believe Taylor does have a tiny bit of value via decision. Like I said Taylor is going to have an age advantage and people who have given Matthysse the most trouble in the past have been slick boxers who don't stand in front of him. Taylor is going to use footwork and technique over sheer force and this could give the veteran some real problems. The longer this fight goes the more I believe Taylor benefits.

Thanks for pointing out this play, tremendous value. When there are such big names fighting, with lots of baggage, I feel like there is a better chance that someone is going to have a wild scorecard. I had 25 dollars sitting in a BetCris account that I hadn't thought about in some time. Perfect play for a fight where I don't see many appealing bets.

Terrible opener. Hopefully Taylor hits would be great for lb
