Hunt was a lock. I kept my mouth shut though and let the band-wagoners pile on Lewis haha :)

Best possible outcome in the main event for me. I went from a small loss to ending up around +4u right there...time for some well earned sleep!

Up about 20u because of Hunt. Hunt was my first real bet, after making some small bets to get used to the process and trying a few strategies out. Now once again he makes me money. Love betting on Hunt! And like I said in anther thread I know betting so much is not good practice. But I did it, and at least for today it paid off.

Man when Lewis turtled and Hunt got that elbow in the air aiming at his back I wondered for a split second if Derrick Lewis had a brother who had seen Hunt kicking a pillar in the back before the fight.

Good fight, hope Black Beast doesn't retire.

Hunt and Brunson turned my night around, think I'm up about 7-8U.

It's 6:10am here though, so I'm going to bed. Hope you all made profit, if down you'll win it back next event!

Lewis retired? Wtf he just signed a huge deal. I guess his talk of "needing time" after his last fight was no joke

It should be Hunt retiring... bizarre.

I was big on Mark but I cringed everytime Lewis threw a power shot. Anything clean could finish the fight.

Not such things at locks when guys with 1 punch KO power are involved.

Called that shit almost to a tee. Hunt was getting soooo much disrespect from the books/bettors..

Hope you guys didn't have too bad a night btw

BTW Just something to consider re: DB

Real Quick, Derek Brunson is 17-5 but on closer inspection with these five losses you can whittle it down and change his record to about 20-2 depending on judges and just one thing changing a potential outcome.

First, L to Romero. DB was in full control of this fight and was even taking the Cuban gold medal wrestling juggernaut down until the bottom fell out in round three. That's L #1

Second is K. Grove, the judges ripped him off here. Watch the fight and tell me the Grove won that fight. That's L #2

Third: Anderson Silva. Very close fight but almost all cage side observers scored it for DB. That's L #3

Four and five DEFINITIVE L's Jacare and Robert Whitaker. Bona fide ass kicking's that can't be disputed. So coming in at 17 and five, DB Easley could be 20-2 with some soul scalps on his resume if just one or two things had been different for him. Regardless, he only has two real losses. That's L #4 and 5

Just saying..that is why I thought DB was going to smoke Kelly.
DB was being underrated after losses to the top 2 MWs.
Meanwhile Daniel Kelly was being overrated after beating an old R. Evans by controversial sd and a completely gassed out shoeface after he was getting smashed in the first two rounds. Oh..plus Camozzi lol

What's up with all of these fighters quitting after I single setback?
Ronda did it. Rumble. Nick and Nate before them. It seems like I'm missing a lot more. I never believe it's a good idea to hang them up directly after a fight. You should go back and talk with friends and family and not make an emotional decision. If in fact you forever decided to retire before hand, and not give 100% because of that or … Because of an injury, that is unfair to fans to spend money, your employer if you just signed a major contract extension, and the other fighters who'd love to have your roster spot.

Really hated Derrick Lewis before this fight but Hunt finishing him brought him back to Earth a bit, so was actually kind of sad to see him retire. I think he will be back though. At least now people will stop acting like Lewis could contend for a title.

Solid night of fights. Can't wait to see what they do next with Cutelaba since all of the fun low-tier LHWs are booked. I'm definitely hoping they just shotgun him to fight Shogun. I'm sure they won't, but I just want to see him back in there brawling soon. So fun to watch

@iGnP

Still think that I am "Ice Cube, Friday high" for thinking that
Hunt should be -275 LOL? What say you Felicia Lol

I tend to agree but think of it in BB's perspective. You just sign a six figure per fight contract but you decide fighting is not for you. Wouldn't you cash in one more time then retire? I know I would

Best card ever for me.

With Hunt winning i ended up $3,400 up for the night.

Sorry but how anybody can put money on BB who love MMA is beyond me. The guy is atrocious. KO power of course but skill just isn't there.

I don't claim to be #elite but i hope i am playing a part on this forum making people money.....

A bit less than before but yes I still think you're overvaluing Hunt. Would you bet on Hunt if he were -220?

Well that was one of the worst heavyweight fights I've ever seen. I thought it was going to reach kimbo dada levels

Really pathetic performance from beast. He gets beat by cardio.

Won small tonight. Mr Steele ruined everything. That was about an 11 unit swing. Parlay buster. What a chump

Maybe he realized there's no way he can beat anyone in the top 5.

The best banner at the event was a young kid holding "Hunt The Beast"
