i have chronic sinusitus and my sinuses go ballistic every time i do any cardio exercise. i can't even imagine what it's like going through a 25 minute fight when you're already on the wrong side of the cardio equation.
I get them too and they suck. Would i get in a fight for 100k with a sinus infection when its my job and my belt is on the line absolutely. I think the mental aspect of this game is highly crucial theres obviously something wrong there. Can you imagine chuck liddell pulling out bc of a sinus infection? Michael chandler broke his leg in the fight and was telling the other guy to kick it. Thats a kill or be killed mentality that you cant teach that amanda clearly doesnt have. Also her not wanting 2 titles anymore bc she would have to fight cyborg is a bad sign. That true mentally tough fighters would have no problem doing. But shes been blessed with other physical attributes. Im not bashing just a concern i would have if i was to bet her

i agree, totally legit concern - and i'll be larger than i initially anticipated on shev (if it's still a pick 'em).

They've never been to Edmonton before (not incl WEC). The last time they were in Alberta was 2012. I wouldn't worry about 'next time'.

Yeah you're probably right and I'm not holding my breath. OEG and WME have close ties though, and OEG has stated that they want to make UFC ppv an annual thing. Would be nice but you're probably right.

Unibet has MM-Borg U4.5 @2.10, I kind of like that. Even if Borg never been stopped MM just seems to be unstoppable now.

Magny +170????? Is this real life.

For me that is a 2-3 unit play. Hitting that now because I feel like that line won't get higher.

What's the reasoning? Size?

RDA is going to be forcing takedowns on Magny, and I see Magny defending hammering him with elbows. RDA also was slowing down vs Saffadine employing the takedown heavy gameplan. If I am right and Magny defends the takedowns he is going to piece RDA up on the feet.

Magny size and reach advantage and can employ a TFerg type gameplan. Long punches, kicks at every level, and a high pace all things that he does already. I love Magny as a dog whenever I can get him. Really like this spot.

Magny's striking is not on the same level as Fergs IMO. I also don't think RDA needs the takedown to win this. Magny doesn't respond well to pressure and he's shown a vulnerability to low kicks, which is one of RDA's favorite weapons. I like the matchup for RDA quite a bit.

I'm not as enthusiastic as you are that Magny wins this as you are, but I do like the line at +170 for sure. I think it's a close fight.

But keep in mind, Magny doesn't have near Ferg's level of striking. Ferg is more varied and faster. In addition, RDA had some success vs Ferg early before Ferg completely took over starting in rd 3. Magny only gets 3 rounds here, so he can't afford to do what Ferg did and find his range and timing while relying on a vastly superior gas tank. Different dynamic than the Ferg fight.

Again, I like Magny at +170, but going too nuts on the line is a mistake. I'm 1u on it, that's it.

Shev dec +390, love this line.

Both are good finishers, but both are also tough as nails and difficult to finish. Nunes will do what she does (and what she did the first time) and come out guns blazing. Shev will try to weather the early storm and take over late. Nunes most likely gasses about 13-15 minutes in assuming the fight isn't over. She was gassed at that point the first time, no reason to think she won't be again. But she won't quit, she'll try to hang in there. I like my chances on this prop at +390.

JDS opened +170 and is alrdy +300?

i'm biting at +300

also taking stephens -130. melendez off of ped's and down to 145 for first time...at this stage of his career.

I thought 3.45 for Dos Santos was very generous and took it for 2u thinking there was no way the line would improve. As usual though, I can't predict line movement. Ngannou hasn't really had his chin tested, has never been past the second round...What's his best win? Super washed up Andre Arlovski? This is a huge step up in competition. JDS is technically superior and has tons more experience. He's also coming back to soon after getting knocked out by Stipe and his chin has seen better days. There's a very real risk that he, oh I don't know, puts his back against the fence and gets murdered (since that seems to be a habit he's not intent to get rid of) but Ngannou is just so unproven...

I missed JDS +300, I guess I'm kinda glad I did. At +250 I can not feel bad about just passing. Any higher and I feel like I'd have to put something small just on principle. (It's HW, JDS facing far superior competition obviously, etc.). But I'd really just feel like I was throwing $ away honestly. Ngannou looks like one of those rare guys who have monster power even in short, awkward punches that don't land flush. That coupled with JDS chin that looks to be fading badly--you get the picture.

I went pretty big on Gil/Stephens o2.5 at -180. Stephens could clip him, but that's kinda the only way I see this fight not going to the cards.

took some JDS-ngannou O1.5 +170, too. small.
